Always be shipping ⏩ Always be partnering
The new mantra in the world of agentic commerce.
Instinct + @OpenTable
You all know how much I love restaurant reservations, so I’m excited to announce our partnership with OpenTable. Your Instinct can now book and manage your reservations, from finding a table to moving the time when plans change.
Try asking your Instinct to book your next dinner.
Kin’s most engaged users are older patients, ages 50 to 90, living in rural America and often managing several chronic conditions. Not your typical technology company.
@HealthcareAIGuy wrote a great piece with @DrParikhMBA and @AmitParikhMD on what they’re building at @MeetKinHealth. Three things stood out:
🩺 “The physician-patient conversation is one of the richest and most underused sources of information in healthcare.” Kin records your doctor visit, helps you remember what was said and what to do next, and lets you share it with family and caregivers.
🤝 Trust is the product. Kin is built for people who have never used AI. It works alongside the doctors patients already rely and trust.
⏭️ It helps you do what’s next. Kin knows what your doctor recommended, it has crucial conversational context so it can help you book the lab, find the specialist, or fill the prescription.
This combination of correct context + trusted pillars + valuable action taken = winning combination. Excited and proud to be an investor in Kin Health
NEW: Company Deep Dive — Kin Health
We sat down with CEO & Co-Founder Arpan Parikh, MD/MBA, who’s building the “Granola for patients” at Kin.
Built by physician founders for patients and caregivers, Kin turns visits into a longitudinal health record and is building an action layer for what comes next. 👇
While taking care of my dad, I had a binder of notes from doctors visits. Some handwritten, some in Apple Notes, some in Google Drive, it was a mess. I was a mess.
Every feature Kin ships is to the make the lives easier of patients and caregivers as they navigate their healthcare journeys. Starting with the basics - record and summarize what your doctor actually told you.
Simple changes, big difference.
Now available on Apple Watch ♥️
Fascinating few weeks for personal agents. Amazon blocks every major AI agent. Shopify now lets any agent check out with Shop Pay. For now, agent reach runs on partnerships. Hoping more follow Shopify so consumers can discover and buy with far less friction.
Check out anywhere with Shop Pay
Today, we’re expanding our partnership with @Shopify beyond finding, buying and tracking orders from Shopify stores. Now, your Instinct can use Shop Pay at any online store.
The card and address you've already saved in Shop Pay now work across stores that aren’t on Shopify, too. This makes it easy for your Instinct to make secure purchases on your behalf.
You approve every purchase in Shop Pay, and your card details never leave Shop Pay.
100% agree - user trust not model capability is the barrier today
It's time for personal agents in healthcare.
Our system is fragmented and runs on clunky legacy software. That's exactly why agents that can navigate those systems on our behalf could make such an impact.
Karan, who leads health AI at OpenAI, calls it "absolutely ripe for agents and computer use" and thinks many of the barriers between patients, clinicians, and their data will dissolve. I agree.
Super inspiring convo with my friend @thekaransinghal on how AI can raise both the floor and the ceiling of human health.
Congratulations to whipped cream who successfully rebranded to ‘foam’ or ‘cloud’ at every third wave / speciality coffee shops
Phenomenal work
Just as the best founders are in the weeds with their customers, the best VCs of this new AI era will be in the weeds with consumers as their world evolves faster and faster, studying them, learning from them, analyzing them.
Well said @simrangsuri 👏
made it out of the groupchat and all the way to Substack 🫢 my case for why the eagles and early stage consumer vcs have the same problem 💚🦅
sgsuri14.substack.com/p/call…
Missed 1 in 5 patient calls, with 19% of dr appointment slots remain empty at the same time. Even more patients who don’t bother to call. Patients give up and practices lose revenue.
The fix has to come from both sides: AI helping practices triage demand, and personal agents handling the hassle for patients.
Fascinating. Need to better understand why Muse retention is this high. Curious if others have predictions.
🏠 60% US homes pay Amazon prime
🤖~2.5% pay for AI tools
Prime+ doesn't need to close that gap.
Top 1% of AI payers spend ~$900/mo per @a16z report
Instinct users who connect a card spend $1,300/mo through the agent per @noahrshinn
🐋 Agentic shopping is a whale product. Price it like one.
Amazing to see the innovation and hustle from companies the last few weeks to make the lives of consumers genuinely easier.
Doing this exact order tonight, except obvi adding froyo with honey!
You can now just text DoorDash and let it order for you. It’s proactive, learns from your repeat orders, and helps you find the best deals and new spots.
Just tell it what you want without any extra setup. Ask it to reorder your usual, or add it to a group text to collect everyone’s orders. You can even send a photo of your fridge and it’ll tell you what ingredients you’re missing for a recipe you want to make and deliver the ingredients to your doorstep.
We believe agents are a new app paradigm and are building for that future at @AIatDoorDash, with a lot more to come. This feature is in beta in the US, would love for you to let us know what you think! Waitlist: doordash.com/text
The person with 47 tasks at once isn't in Palo Alto. She's a mom at 6am packing a lunch, booking the pediatrician, planning the birthday, stocking the fridge, answering the school emails.
She influences 85% of household purchasing decisions, ~$2.4 trillion in annual spend.
The market for personal agents is wide and just getting started.
exciting!!!
BREAKING: DoorDash unveiled a text-to-order AI agent that works inside iMessage, its answer to popular agentic tools like Instinct and Muse
It is also opening a waitlist for its MCP for enterprise agents to do corporate ordering.
DoorDash doesn’t have an official connector for Muse, but @andyfang told me that’s “TBD”. Doordash is talking with Meta and different AI players to meet users where they are, he said. (CEO Tony Xu is on Meta board)

Today Instinct users can share calendars with one another. Predicting one day they can share their taste - travel, fashion, restaurants, all of it.
Instinct Selections
We’re bringing human taste to the core of our product. We’re partnering with local chefs, designers, architects, travel guides, and more to create curated recommendations in the areas they know best.
The next time you're looking for a restaurant, Instinct can pull from a list handpicked by chefs who know the hidden gems in your area. If you want to find a new trail to explore, Instinct can draw on recommendations from local guides and suggest a few routes that fit your preferences. And if you're looking to add some color to your home, Instinct will find pieces from independent designers that match your style, space, and budget.
Our goal is to deliver world-class recommendations that are differentiated in quality from what you might find on the internet, and from what other chatbots produce.
We’re rolling out access to Instinct Selections to our early access program, and plan to make it generally available soon. This is a project we’ve been working on since the start of the company and one that I’m personally extremely excited for.

Fantastic idea. We've already built and launched the app that does this, and it's completely free! @MeetKinHealth is in the hands of tens of thousands of Americans across the country, many of whom are NOT AI-native. Welcome to the new era of empowered patients in our system!!
Travel and credit card points may be considered the first mainstream digital currency.
For 40+ years, millions of consumers have learned increasingly sophisticated ways to earn, transfer, and redeem rewards.
AI is about to make that optimization dramatically more powerful.
Silo’s insight: what if consumers earned points for building wealth instead of spending money?
Members earn rewards for holding stocks, ETFs, and retirement accounts - including assets transferred from existing brokerages.
Excited to partner with @HariharanJay and the Silo team, pumped to co-lead this with friends @bonatsos and @michaelfertik
Really liked this answer from @ScottNolan on his biggest lesson learned from @SpaceX
This one's personal for me. A few years ago, I was managing my dad's care. I had a folder full of MRIs, CDs, and notes scribbled in waiting rooms. I realized (and have never forgotten) that the people who are sickest in our healthcare system are the ones we ask to do the most.
It bugged me. Now, Kin fixes that problem and lets doctors and patients just talk and listen.
