Some news: I’m joining OpenAI to lead product management for Core Products!
I have a lot of respect for OpenAI for showing the world that scaling works, for bringing AI to over a billion people, and for believing great products are core to the mission.
I’m excited to work with @thsottiaux, an incredible PM team, and everyone across OpenAI. Together, we’ll build agents that have your back and your team’s, and keep you in control, so you get more time for the people and work you love.
Lots to learn, and lots to build. Please keep your feedback coming!
After Google acquired my AR startup, I started thinking about the next interface, this time for AI. Text and voice work fine, just like DOS did before the Mac. But nothing’s more intuitive than face to face.
After two years of research, today we’re launching Atmee v2: a real-time avatar model that makes live video agents feel truly life-like.
• Any character from 1 image + 10s of audio
• Contextual expressions, gestures, even interacting with the environment
• Live video calls, voice only, or video generation
At its core, Atmee v2 is a video foundation model, it can render anything, but it’s built to excel at characters, which is what video models like Seedance 2.5 and Wan 3.0 are mostly used for. In comparison:
Atmee v2
• Up to 50x faster
• 10-100x cheaper
Build tutors, sales coaches, support agents, companions, game characters, even whole living worlds. The interface after text and voice starts today.

Formal verification is the only way, fully convinced.
Shoutout to Taelin for seeing it before most of us and building it out.
Someone needs to do a YouTube series “formal verification for agent acceleration”
maybe a hot take but i now consider adversarial reviews mostly a waste of tokens. far better to use those tokens on empirical combined with formal verification. i have updated pstack to use the interrogate skill less, and eventually i think i may remove it altogether
i have found very little value with code review in the abstract, agents tend to just get lost in the nitpicks and yagnis

It's the only big thing remaining atp I think.. most of the improvements have landed, and from what I've seen, a lot more are coming..
But computer use is the one I'm really missing in agy.. nd I hope it comes soon..

Harness Engineering 2.0 is here!
We benchmark models all the time but the harness running the model can dramatically improve the result, cost, and execution time too.
And finally, devs just open-sourced Harness Arena, where you can test the same task across multiple harness and model combinations side by side.
You provide one task and then run it across several model x harness configs that you want to test.
Every config receives the same prompt, files, tools, skills, and evaluation checks. Harness Arena then returns:
- total cost
- execution time
- whether the task passed
- files and artifacts produced
If you want to try it yourself, it is implemented within the open-source HarnessRouter project.
Here's the repo: github.com/HarnessRouter/har…
(don't forget to star it ⭐ )
HarnessRouter is a plug-and-play infrastructure layer that lets you run any harness under a single interface, like:
- Codex
- Hermes
- Claude code
- DeepSeek Harness
- System One, powered by Jev
- And 25 more agent harnesses
In Harness Arena, the cheapest run does not automatically win.
A config must complete the task correctly first. Cost and execution time are compared only among the configurations that pass.
Here's the result from one Harness Arena test:
- Hermes + GPT-5.2: 5/5 successful runs using 0.47 credits
- Claude Code + Opus 4.8: 3/5 successful runs using 223 credits
That is around 474x difference in credits, while the more expensive configuration also failed two runs.
You can keep the model fixed to measure how much the harness changes the result. Or vary both to find the best harness and model pairing for that task.
This helps answer practical questions such as:
- Should this task run on Codex or Claude?
- Can a cheaper config still pass every check?
- Which setup is best to handle this workload?
Once you find the best config, you can run future tasks through it using the same Unified Harness Protocol (UHP) interface for sessions, streaming, files, artifacts, cancellation, and failures.
So you are no longer choosing an agent stack based only on a model leaderboard.
Instead, you can benchmark the complete runtime on the task your product actually needs to solve.
To dive deeper, my co-founder wrote an article explaining why model routing is different from harness routing, how UHP works, and what supporting multiple agent runtimes involves.
It also covers the local setup, a working request, and how sessions and files move through the system.
Read it below.

For anyone getting started in AI and AI infrastructure, reading real code and trying to reproduce a paper can be one of the best ways to learn. Knowing where to start is the hard part.
I built Teachable Code to learn how AI systems actually work.
It’s an agentic skill that turns LLM architectures and complex AI-native apps into interactive 2D/3D lessons. You can zoom in, click components, inspect their code, and follow how the data changes.
Give your coding agent a repository and a question, and it builds a lesson around what you want to understand.
I’m building it for people like me who want to understand the “black box” systems they hope to build on. I wanted to connect the code, the logic, the visual structure and the data transformations in one place.
The whole system stays on screen as you move through a lesson. Active components light up while the surrounding components remain visible, so you can see both the current operation and its place in the larger system.
From there, you can:
• Zoom into a component and inspect its source files.
• Explore the folder structure and see which components use each file.
• Compare an operation’s inputs and outputs.
• Watch tokens, vectors, memory and context change across steps.
• Turn on “Guess first” to predict selected results before revealing them.
For me, opening up the black box means being able to move between an explanation, a visual process, the data and the code behind it.
Try the interactive demos: ywedai.github.io/teachable-c…
Explore Teachable Code on GitHub : github.com/ywEdAi/teachable-…
If you find it useful, please star the repo. Leave a comment with what you want to explore next or what would make the lessons more helpful.
