In Enugu State, CNG-powered buses are making a tangible difference in the daily lives of commuters, providing students, teachers, traders, business owners and other residents with a more affordable and convenient way to move around.
Beyond mobility, the impact is economic and deeply human. When people spend less getting to school, work and business, they have more room to pursue opportunities, sustain livelihoods and improve their quality of life.
Through the Presidential Initiative on Compressed Natural Gas and Electric Vehicles (Pi-CNG&EV), the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is advancing alternative transportation solutions designed to make commuting more accessible, support economic activity and deliver practical benefits to Nigerians under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Federal Government has completed 10 radiodiagnostic centres and three cancer centres across Nigeria, marking a major expansion of healthcare infrastructure and modern medical services under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
The 10 radiodiagnostic centres, delivered through MedSafe and the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA), are equipped to improve access to modern diagnostic services while supporting quality healthcare, medical training and research. The Bauchi centre at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital is among the facilities completed, with another in Ibadan, Oyo State, scheduled for commissioning.
Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, described the development as the largest expansion of health infrastructure and equipment in Nigeria’s history, while also announcing that three cancer centres have been completed as part of the broader healthcare transformation programme.
The Federal Government is also preparing to establish six major multi-specialty hospitals, with one planned for each of Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones. Together, these investments are expanding access to specialised medical services and strengthening the country’s capacity for diagnosis, treatment, training and research.
The progress reflects a broader push to modernise Nigeria’s health system through upgraded infrastructure, advanced medical equipment and stronger collaboration between the Federal Government and state governments.

Mr. President, Sir.
On behalf of the men and women in uniform thank you Sir.
Thank you for the pay increase. Thank you for the new formations in Zamfara, Kebbi, Oyo, and Osun. Thank you for the barracks and depots in Abuja, Ekiti, Ebonyi, and Kogi. Thank you for remembering that behind every soldier is a family waiting at home.
You said something that many leaders never say: "Every deployment is a sacrifice made by a family too."
Sir, that sentence alone tells us you understand. You understand that when a soldier leaves his home at 4 a.m., his wife wakes up to an empty bed. You understand that when a soldier falls in the bush, a mother loses a son, a child loses a father. You understand that the uniform is worn by one man, but carried by an entire family.
This is what leadership looks like. Not just giving orders. Not just declaring wars. But standing behind the people who fight them. Supporting the families who wait. And investing in the future of the force.
We see the new barracks. We see the new formations. We see the salary alerts. And we are grateful.
But sir, we also ask for one more thing: keep going. Keep building. Keep equipping. Keep listening. Because the journey is not yet finished. And the enemy is still out there.
To the Commander-in-Chief we salute you. We appreciate you. And we will continue to serve with everything we have.
Nigeria will prevail. And you will not fight alone.
God bless the Armed Forces of Nigeria. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Over the past few days, servicemen and women of the Armed Forces have shared what the recent pay increase means for them and their families. I am glad it is making a difference.
This week, the Nigerian Army @HQNigerianArmy operationalised new formations in Zamfara, Kebbi, Oyo and Osun. Our troops are now closer to vulnerable communities in these areas, strengthening our ability to respond swiftly and decisively when our people are threatened.
We are also fast-tracking the construction of new barracks and depots in Abuja, Ekiti, Ebonyi and Kogi, with Osun already completed. As we demand more from our men and women in uniform, we must do more to support them and their families.
Every deployment is a sacrifice made by a family too.
As our Armed Forces stand watch over Nigeria, my duty as Commander-in-Chief is to ensure they have the resources and support to do their job, and that Nigeria stands firmly behind the families waiting for them at home.

Nigeria holds more than 200 trillion cubic feet of gas, one of the largest reserves in the world.
Yet for too long, too much of that gas was flared while the country depended heavily on imported petrol and diesel.
That contradiction is what Nigeria is now correcting.
Created by the Petroleum Industry Act, 2021, with operational regulations issued in 2022, the Midstream and Downstream Gas Infrastructure Fund is now being driven with renewed urgency under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, moving from mandate to measurable delivery.
