Breakdown of the paper: The grown-up sickness called COVID-19 can make people's brains change. But we don't know much about how it affects kids' brains. Kids' brains are still growing and changing a lot, so even a small sickness could have big effects on how they learn and feel. This study wants to see if COVID-19 changes kids' brains and if those changes stay for a long time. The study found that kids who had COVID-19 had some brain parts that were smaller. For example, a part of the brain called the cingulate cortex, which helps with thinking, and another part called the postcentral gyrus, which helps with touch, got smaller after COVID-19. Also, a part called the hippocampus, which helps with memory, and the superior temporal gyrus, which helps with language, were smaller in kids who had COVID-19 compared to healthy kids. The wrinkles and thickness of the superior temporal gyrus also got smaller after COVID-19, but these seemed to get a little better over time. When looking at how brain parts work together, the brains of kids who had COVID-19 were not as good at sending messages far away, but they were still good at sending messages to nearby parts. This means their brain connections were a bit different. ......

I still have not recovered my sense of smell and taste since my Covid episode back in 2019/2020. it’s like when you have a cold and your nose is stuffed up and you can’t taste anything all day every day. It sucks

If the maha movement actually gave a crap about kids they’d help suppress transmission of Covid.

How can anyone now deny BRAIN DAMAGE FOR EVERYONE EXPOSED TO COVID!! the evidence is overwhelming..and I'm still asked why weve stayed in lockdown 17 months! Cos I've been tweeting the evidence for a year and I'm not stupid!
