I think a lot about why we as a nation are quick to take offence and argue. Is there any relation with history or culture? Why people from smaller and less developed nations like Sri Lanka and Bali (Indonesia) are so kind, welcoming and nicer? People in developed countries are also nicer than us generally. Why are Indians like this???? #CivicSense
Told a guy at the airport who broke the line, that there was indeed a line. First he pretended like there was no line. Then said I should complain to the airline. When I asked the lady at the counter why she didn’t tell him, she says “bola sir, kya karein, sunte nahi hain”. I told him to have some courtesy and some sense, so he proceeds to tell me I should go teach in a school, not him. Such folks travel abroad, and then give India a bad name!
The most normalized open extortion in Indian middle class life:
The Sub Registrar office on property registration day.
You spend 10 years saving every rupee from your salaried job.
You pay 30% TDS on your income.
You pay 7% official stamp duty online via net banking.
You pay 1% registration fee through a government treasury challan.
Every single paisa is accounted for on your bank statement.
Then you reach the government registration office with your builder or seller:
The deed writer pulls you aside into a dusty corridor:
"Sir, ₹25,000 to ₹40,000 cash alag se lagega for the desk. Official receipt nahi milegi."
You: "Bhaiya, I already paid ₹4.5 lakhs in official government stamp duty online!"
Agent smiles with complete indifference:
"Sir, mat do. Phir file 'Property Under Valuation' mark hoke audit me chali jayegi. 6 mahine chakkar kaatna."
You stand in an airless hallway, walk to the nearest ATM, withdraw ₹30,000 cash, and slip it inside the file folder just to get your own thumb impression scanned.
We aren't a digital, cashless economy.
We are a country where honest taxpayers have to withdraw physical cash just to get legal permission to own what they already paid for.
Did your property registration happen 100% clean, or did you have to pay the "corridor settlement fee" too?

“Modi Ji Kahin Nahi Jayenge” got to be the most narcissistic projection of a politician. People hate it.
It exposes great desperation, grave fear, and a toxic lust for eternal power.

I’m genuinely confused. “Satyameva Jayate” - Truth Alone Triumphs - is India’s national motto, enshrined in its State Emblem.
Yet, in the very country that celebrates truth, people are afraid to speak it.
If truth is supposed to triumph, why are those who speak it made to fear the consequences?
What gives?

india is full of people who'll risk their entire future because someone looked at them the wrong way. just saw an unnecessary road rage turning violent.
imagine explaining to your wife, your parents or your kids that your life got turned upside down because you couldn't let some random guy in traffic have the last word. “he was disrespecting me.” that's your explanation. that's the hill you chose.
that's the stupid freaking trade you made.
you exchanged your peace, your safety and your future for the satisfaction of winning an argument with someone who probably is equally dumb or more.
swallow your pride. take the loss. go home. some battles aren't worth fighting.

What's happening here is a moment of collective shame.
Hounding someone just because you can't stand their work - to what extent are we going to tolerate all of this?

People think the purpose of business is to make money. In an open society, free competition forces businesses to innovate and deliver better products. In a closed society, where competition is stifled, profits come not from innovation but from cronyism, manipulation and fraud.

The Indian government and Adani’s actions against my fundamental right to free speech have awakened a sleeping giant.
I’m exploring international legal action to challenge what I consider reprehensible conduct.

🚨 Welcome to New India 🇮🇳
GDP is flying, jobs are hiding, inflation is meditating, and the rupee is exploring international destinations. 😂
Ask questions? Anti-national.
Demand accountability? Foreign-funded.
Praise the government? Congratulations, you’re a national asset! 🏆

The ultimate scam being sold to the good, unsuspecting people of India:
“We’re working tirelessly to develop India. Please don’t question us, demand accountability, or ask for results. Just trust us. All our efforts will magically bear fruit in 2047.”
A 25-year promise. Zero accountability today.
