In the Adarsh Campus school principal Basheer Shaikh, case Latur Police traced victim on 4th October & recorded her statement.
FIR was registered u/s 74,76 and 8,12 of POCSO. Basheer Shaik was arrested on 8th October.
Knowing the seriousness of the offence, Subsequently, on 10th October an SIT under Lady IPS officer was formed to look into the case.
Following which 2 more victims were traced and cases were registered against the same accused,
on 11th & 22nd October u/s 74 BNS and sec 12 of POCSO.
The accused was arrested in all the three cases and in custody as of now.

The first arrest in Keralam’s #PSC appointment scandal is only the beginning. Questions must be asked of both #LDF and #UDF regimes. Was merit sacrificed to political connections?
Again, there might be few good guys in PSC; but there are many who landed there just because of political loyalty.... & was never ever loyal to the very system. In my opinion, every recruitment atleast in the past 25 yrs need to be probed; judiciary owes a duty here to the nation.
Those who took to the streets over #NEET must also speak up for PSC aspirants robbed of a fair chance.
Jobs belong to deserving youth, not party networks. Accountability must reach every level.
