🚨 Brexit was sold as a way to restore British sovereignty. Yet we are making our hospitals, defence systems and government infrastructure dependent on proprietary American technology platforms. We left the EU, whose democratic institutions we helped shape, to escape being “rule-takers”. Now critical systems rely on corporations whose leaders we cannot vote out. And @JohnHealey_MP now Chancellor, was Defence Secretary for almost two years as this dependence deepened. Under his watch, the MoD signed a strategic partnership with Palantir and awarded it a £240.6mn contract without competition. Taking back control has too often meant privatising it and handing it overseas. The question is not just where the data is stored. Can Britain operate, scrutinise and replace a critical defence system without the supplier’s permission, expertise or continued support?

Take note when looking at parties in the UK like Racist Reform Ltd aka Temu Trump's party...
This isn't the end of the right wing grift in America. But it is the beginning of the end. Let's just hope people in Europe learnt the lessons that these grifters offer lots, deliver nothing and take everything.

I'm confused, outraged, and upset by the lack of the world's reaction to the criminal Russian double-tap in Komyshuvakha. Search and rescue operations have been underway for 3 days now following a Russian strike on a school. Russians launched 9 guided aerial bombs, initially targeting residents gathered to receive humanitarian aid, and then striking the first responders and police officers who arrived at the scene. People were there to receive bread! The death toll is currently at 40 people, with over 30 still missing, and after three days, considering the explosions were so strong that recovered bodies are actually "fragments," that means that they are likely gone too. I can't understand why this is not news, why the f*** is this normalized???

🚨Democrat Keisha Bottoms makes history and becomes first black and female governor of Georgia! Congrats @KeishaBottoms

Looks like Republican party is still the party for the hicks, but overall, the shift away is massive...The emerging consensus from early reporting is that: Suburban & independent voters have shifted the most against the Republicans, producing an unusually broad Democratic swing.

1/3Two significant seats are Florida 14 and Florida 25 which Democrats have held. A blow to the Republicans' attempt to redraw boundaries in their favour. The redistricting saw both districts move from having a maj of Dem voters to having a majority of ppl who voted for IQ47>>

2/3 Florida 22, which was also redrawn to favour the Republicans, saw a victory for the Democrats too. So the public turned against the gerrymandering. Then add the high proportion of women voting democrat: reacting against the sexism of Trump, Hegseth etc + Trump-Epstein files>>

3/3 So the gerrymandering, sexism & sex scandals all added to the distaste and anger created by blatant corruption & forever war costs for voters. Of course IQ47 blames his candidates & the public not willing to wait out inflation!!

BREAKING: SWEET REVENGE! The Navy Admiral who Pete Hegseth fired DEFEATS her MAGA opponent to win a House seat in South Carolina — cementing the blue tsunami with a poetic flourish! This is just too beautiful... Democrat Nancy Lacore, a 35-year Navy veteran who rose through the ranks from helicopter pilot to become Chief of Navy Reserve, was fired in August of 2025 amid Hegseth's purging of high-ranking women in the military. While no official reason was given, the deeply misogynistic Hegseth has not been coy about his caveman belief that only testosterone-injecting men should serve. Lacore has now defeated Republican Jenny Costa Honeycutt to seize a seat that was formerly held by MAGA lunatic Nancy Mace who launched a failed bid for the governor's mansion this year. Lacore has not been shy about criticizing Hegseth's disastrous mismanagement of the Defense Department, particularly his failed Iran War. "Pete Hegseth is the most unqualified Secretary of Defense that we have ever had, and he is doing significant damage to our military that it will really take decades to undo," she said, adding that he "needs to go." The most beautiful irony here? Congresswoman Lacore could soon be voting with the rest of the Democratic majority in the House to impeach Pete Hegseth. We have subpoena power starting in January, so we'll be able to uncover all of the gross negligence and rampant criminality that he's overseen. Ain't karma grand? Please ❤️ and share if you support impeaching Pete Hegseth!

While Nazi Germany's armies were failing on the battlefield, Hitler launched terror attacks on British civilians with V1 drones and V2 ballistic missiles. Today, with Russia's forces failing on the battlefield, Putin is terrorising Ukrainian civilians with drones and missiles. In 1945 we said "Never Again!". In 1994 Ukraine was persuaded to give up the world's third largest nuclear arsenal in return for security guarantees by Russia, the USA, the UK, France and China. Those guarantees, like our 1945 pledge have turned out to be utterly worthless. – at Brighton, England
The Russians carried out a complex, massive attack overnight, aimed primarily at our critical infrastructure. And the main target was energy – power generation facilities and substations – in the Odesa, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Chernivtsi, Chernihiv, and Rivne regions. In many cities and communities, emergency and unscheduled power outages are ongoing. In Kharkiv, the Russians directly struck a city clinical hospital. Seventy-three people were injured, and the cardiology department, where people were receiving treatment, was damaged. A rescue operation has also been underway since yesterday in Komyshuvakha, in the Zaporizhzhia region. Tragically, the death toll has risen. Russia has killed 29 people. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Five people were injured. There are still people under the rubble. Rescue operations continue as far as the security situation allows – there is a threat of Russian double-tap strikes, as they always so wickedly do. Overnight alone, the Russians launched 289 attack drones, 17 ballistic missiles, and 59 cruise missiles. And even now, the air raid alert continues, and there is a threat of new Russian missile and drone attacks. It is very telling that all of this is happening on the day of the U.S. congressional elections. The Russians believe that America will not notice this signal from them. But such terror must be noticed and stopped. Ukraine must be helped to defend its skies, otherwise Russia will never stop its missile strikes. It is essential to help build peace honestly and reliably, and America can do that. Thank you to everyone who will not remain silent about this Russian attack. Thank you to everyone who supports the defense of Ukraine.

So on these results who are Dems' strongest GE ticket prospects? - Order looks like: Shapiro > Whitmer > Kelly > Ossoff > Moore > Buttigieg > Newsom > Harris > Beshear > AOC. Swing-state govs look far stronger than national media stars. But then look at voter choice last time!!

As usual: Russia is making no progress on the front and is therefore terrorizing Ukraine’s civilian population. And all of this is happening on the day of the U.S. elections. At this point it is unclear whether this is a deliberate insult to the free world and stable democracy, or whether the Russians are simply acting quietly while our security guarantor — the United States — is occupied with the elections. In any case, new crimes against humanity have once again been committed, which require worldwide attention and the involvement of human rights organizations. Meanwhile, Ukraine, as usual, has for almost five years been in need of protection of its skies from Russian attacks.
