Patriarchy is illogical. None of it matches material reality. It’s the longest running PR scam in history.
Men calling women bad drivers when men still cause 73- 78% of fatal and serious car crashes.
Men calling women “too emotional” when men commit 80 - 88% of violent crimes (and most war crimes) yet also form 80 - 86% of police and security forces maintaining law and order.
Men calling women “dependent” even though women still perform about three times more unpaid care and domestic work worldwide.
Men calling women “overly sensitive” even though women score higher in cognitive empathy across 57 countries.

You cannot challenge any oppressive structure without at least one of the tools by which the oppressive structure maintains its power.
WOMEN MUST AMASS MONEY BY ANY MEANS POSSIBLE
“Have your own money” feminism is doing considerable damage to the feminist movement, and it is funny how many feminists seem blind to it.
Misogyny is not something that happens exclusively to financially dependent women. Wealthy, educated, female and financially independent women experience misogyny, domestic violence, sexual exploitation and discrimination.
We are prescribing individualistic solutions to systemic and collective problems. We are telling women to find personal ways to survive oppression rather than challenging the structures that make that oppression possible in the first place.
Financial independence can give a woman options, but it cannot, on its own, dismantle misogyny. We need to stop confusing individual survival strategies with collective liberation.

Situations like this don't happen in a vacuum, tbh. When public clinics and hospitals are filled with nurses who judge and humiliate young girls for seeking reproductive healthcare or contraceptives, it drives them into isolation out of fear and that’s dangerous.
sikuona imagine. nakuanga nimeblock huyo. I dont agree lakini. I am very glad i got to love that deeply and i am excited to do so again in a romantic sense. Platonic pia nimevunjwa roho na wamama aki but i choose love everytime. Even if i am scared.
What attracted me to @sumeiya_omar is her boldness. I remember being in awe of her in 2024. I am so proud of you, Sumi. Kwa yote ya nje, ya ndani, I am glad I get to work alongside you and call you my friend.

By the way, this statement is more spot on than we realise. There's a leeching energy in this country - look at our forests, land, money, spiritual lives, souls - nothing is flourishing at all, nothing is nurturing, birthing. The energy is just devouring and destroying.

Which honestly is a danger , we pass knowledge orally, losing nuance means so much of the wisdom that has been consistently passed is gonna be lost ..

This conversation shows how our generation lacks wisdom nothing about happy wife happy life says the man should abandon himself, again lacking nuance as adults to the point wisdom has to be delivered to us like toddlers is dangerous
