US is overpriced in corn as well compared to the world markets. mcusercontent.com/8d3c677041…

US is over priced. This is why demand has almost trumped weather. mcusercontent.com/8d3c677041…

Going to be a tough hold on the U.S. bean market as producers hold to see some profitable levels. So Am production may hold the key to that. Good domestic demand is a blessing for now.

December 23 $5.45 to $5.60 top side for now. Support $5.10 then $4.90. Agree with Van Trump Report that there is enough diversity out there to hold a U.S. average of 181.5 BPA.

Big opportunity today. Summer NOLA #urea price ideas are in the mid $260's while Dec '24 #corn sits at $5.10 on the board. That gives a ratio of around 52. A value not seen many times in the last near 2 decades. Inland values will be different but this is what is showing.

Looks like December 2024 corn has broken below $5/bushel. That is not bullish fertilizer prices going into the summer.

bqci.us11.list-manage.com/tr… Couple weeks ago talked about exports needing to show up soon or corn could be in serious trouble. See if we can drive May to the $6.52 or above.

bqci.us11.list-manage.com/tr… Next 45 days need to see corn exports turn up in traditionally timing.

I know this graph is busy but stick with me. This is the #corn/#urea ratio chart going back to 2000. Today, that ratio sits at 55 ($5.94 corn & $328 urea) after dipping to 50 last week. Today's value is EXCEPTIONAL...if you lock in both sides. Lock in that profit/margin.

Replying to @6_ColumnGuy
We’ve tried to replicate the Jack of all trades with a concept called “three in a box”. Operations, merchandising and origination. Slow starting but baby steps.

I see no corn vessels in the US PNW export line up, and only a small number of Soybean ships. Mostly wheat going out of the PNW. Looks like bean exports are slowing

Found out today that a great way to age myself was to mention trading PIK Certificates. Those of us that lived through them and managed to be alive to talk about it consider it to be a sign of great strength and never asking why, but just doing it because it was a money pit.

The U.S. Ag Attache in China expects them to import a substantial amount of corn from Brazil this year, as it is competitively priced with their domestic supplies. This is not real positive news for us living on export rail programs.😬

Beans were also lower in production.
