‼️Do not npm install or deploy anything right now Supply chain attack on axios 1.14.1 - even if you don’t use axios it may be a nested dep. Pin versions or wait until this is resolved

I’ll die on this hill: “isomorphic” means it’s 1-1 and onto, and SSR is neither. And hydration isn’t invertable or structure preserving either. So nothing about SSR is isomorphic (though I still call it that too).
I will die on this hill: SSR is a subset of "server rendering" and Express (or php) isn't it. SSR means isomorphic code: running the same user code on the server or on the client.

React has “use client” and “use server”. The others are specific to one framework.

Thanks @rickyfm. I dedicated a good part of my last stream to talking about this. Having things not entangle is trivial to implement but not necessarily better. There are always specific cases where you can safely not, but for general solution it can be harder to identify.
I heard some complaints about React batching transitions, so I jumped over to twitter to explain why batching transitions by default is good actually:

good news re Suspense, just met w/ @rickyfm @en_JS @acdlite * we care a lot about SPAs, team misjudged how many people rely on this today * still recommend preloading but recognize not always practical * we plan to hold the 19.0 release until we find a good fix more to come
