We all know that I can tell time and I can sense glucose in the environment. But, I bet you didn't know that not only I can sense temperature, I can use my temperature response to make cool stuff! Nice work using me Larrondo lab! @lflarrondo journals.asm.org/doi/10.1128…

Awesome paper from our dear friend and colleague @camoragaq ! Brumir is an innovative algorithm based on construction of de Brujin graphs to identify miRNAs from sRNA-seq data without the need of a genome assembly! Happy to participate and congratulations Carol ❤️!
Happy to share with you The #BrumiR manuscript at @GigaScience
BrumiR can discover miRNAs directly from small RNA sequencing without mapping to any reference genome!

We can now plant over 700 near-single Arabidopsis seeds per plate with a modified Ender 3 (~$200) 3D printer, the AraPrinter. Next, we will combine the AraPrinter1.0 with the 3D printer-based imaging system, Imag3D, to track germination with high temporal resolution. Stay tuned.
