World Bank is reporting that Kenya overspend 117B in the construction of Mombasa SGR. The same thing will happen to Rironi-Mau Summit Road. UhuRuto presidency is the worst thing to ever happen to Kenya

Dear World Bank, Youve talked about Kenya corrupt dealing, 117 Billions overpaid for SGR and how Kenya economy is going to grow by over 22% by 2035 just by cutting on budgeted corruption. I dont know if you people watched The linda Mwananachi party leader and the most preffered president globally Edwin Sifuna speech early last month when he was launching his vehicle party TEP. But he talked exactly about that . Meaning he is the only presidential candidate who has a blueprint of how this country can grow economically without making noise about it but at the same time putting respect to the constitution , rule of law and Justice. Thats why he is the GOAT.

Ruto finally amerealise kutukanana kwa rally na kuita watu stet ouse apeane hand outs haiwork. Sasa ana struggle kutafuta projects za kufunga watu macho. Analaunch kabarabara kanajengwa 50 metres wanahamia kengine. Wanaleta poles na trailer hapa kesho wanapeleka kwingine. WANTAM

Deep inside Murang'a County, Maragua Constituency, Kaharo Ward. I stopped in my tracks to take this pic, coming from visiting my Cucu! Hata kama wamesema "Mwananichi" 😂. The message is home! #SisiNdioSifuna
I move around this country on solo trips , i go interior and remote areas . Kids singing sifuna songs in the villages. Kids competing 100 meters race saying the last one is ruto (to mean a very bad person) Bro the message is moving already in the remote areas. Nowadays i ignore those government bloggers because they themselves know the whispers from the ground and . Sifuna has been embraced like an antidote. They see hope they see future. Parents out here are really playing a big role for LMM. Edwin sifuna is a GAME CHANGER

Why does the World Bank sound exactly like Sifuna? Will @WilliamsRuto now brand the World Bank "Mr Empty?" Or will the UDA regime now claim that the World Bank has moved its headquarters into Sifuna's coat pocket?
Key Takeaways From the World Bank’s Kenya Economic Update (Edition No. 34): — Anti-corruption reforms could increase Kenya’s GDP by 8.7%–22.3% by 2035 relative to a no-reform scenario, improve job opportunities for up to 7.7M people and boost household consumption by up to 27%. — Anti-corruption reforms could reduce Kenya’s debt-to-GDP ratio by up to 18% relative to the baseline. Improved governance could also lower external borrowing costs by 50–100 basis points, saving USD 50M–100M annually. — Governance weaknesses are estimated to widen Kenya’s annual fiscal deficit by ~2 percentage points of GDP through revenue leakages, inefficient spending and procurement irregularities. — Some 39% of Kenyan firms identified corruption as a major business constraint in 2025, up from 25% in 2013, while 36% reported experiencing at least one bribery request in the preceding year. — ~48% of medium-sized firms reported being expected to provide gifts to public officials, compared with 36% of small firms and 31% of large firms. Firms exposed to bribery were over 30% less likely to innovate. — Informal workers, accounting for 83.8% of employment, can lose up to 20% of their daily earnings to bribes demanded by police and municipal officials. — Electricity for Kenyan businesses costs over 2X as much as in Vietnam and ~50% more than in Uganda. Mombasa Port ranks 375th out of 403 ports globally in the Container Port Performance Index. — Kenya’s GDP growth is projected at 4.6% in 2026, 4.4% in 2027 and 4.8% in 2028, compared with 4.6% in 2025 and 5.2% in H1 2026. — The current account deficit is projected to widen to 4.3% of GDP in 2026 from 2.8% in 2025, reflecting higher import costs and weaker remittances. — Kenya’s FY2025/26 fiscal deficit widened to 6.8% of GDP from 6.0% in FY2024/25, exceeding the original 4.7% target. Expenditure reached 24.1% of GDP against a budgeted 22.2%. — Public debt stood at 69.9% of GDP in June 2026, with domestic debt accounting for 56.2% of the total. Interest payments consumed 33.6% of government revenue, equivalent to 5.8% of GDP. — Inflation increased to 7.3% in October 2026 from 4.6% a year earlier, driven by food (+10.2%) and energy (+10.4%) prices. The CBK maintained its policy rate at 8.75%. — Private sector credit growth accelerated to 10.6% in September 2026 from 5.0% a year earlier, although lending to manufacturing contracted by 1.8%. — Poverty is projected to decline marginally to 41.4% by 2028 from 43.0% in 2026, while ~84% of employment remains informal, limiting productivity and income growth. If Kenyans choose to continue with pain, their right. It's not that Kenyans can't get what's happening. It will be another 65 years of poverty, illiteracy, diseases but it's their choice. The few trillionaires and billionaires working to protect their loot

Chinese firm Weihai Construction Group has reportedly won a Sh3.2bn deal to upgrade three Busia County roads to bitumen standard. The firm was debarred for 35 months by the African Development Bank in 2021 over fraudulent practices on Kenyan projects, including the Sh33bn Kenol-Sagana-Marua highway. That ban covered Bank-financed projects and has since expired.

Dangote will refine oil from kenya and sell above market rates while banning importation of fuel. Profits will be shared like siah. We will never recover. When sifuna is sworn in first order of business must be chasing out dangote and reviving kipevu oil refinery
Kenya now plans to build a pipeline linking its Turkana oil to Dangote’s planned Lamu refinery, reviving a project previously abandoned over funding concerns. The new pipeline is expected to make Kenya’s crude a key raw material for the refinery.

Under Faith Odhiambo as LSK President we had a standing army of volunteer lawyers who would always respond to these blatant abuses of human rights immediately whether day or night. I was part of that small but effectively lethal group, and @FaithOdhiambo8 inspired us to volunteer our time and skills because she was always the first to volunteer her own time and skill. The current LSK Council is apparently only interested in "member welfare" but I ask, which welfare is more important than the freedom and liberty of an advocate? How can an advocate be abducted while performing their duties and 78 hours later there is no real action by the "member welfare" people? Hapa nayo senior bar mlitucheza.

Transparency, Accoubtability, sustainable development. The #LindaMwananchiMovement promise is to make all project contracts available to the public in conformity with these three Constitutional Values. We all know why the Ruto regime hides these agreements. From Bomas to Talanta to Rironi highway to Lamu refinery, we are being robbed blind. #LindaKatiba

The courts finds that there was no need for arrest while investigation that claimed to have been started in January was not yet complete. The Courts is unable to find constitution threshold for continuing to hold the accused in custody. Unconditional RELEASE for Hon @ObedMahanga Free at Last. Asanteni sana for amplifying. Sasa endea hiyo Senate seat ya Transnzoia na audacity tena sana! #LindaMwananchiMovement
