A divorce lawyer answered a prenup demand for lifetime Botox money by asking what the husband gets in return. Even the interviewer winced. James Sexton’s client had already offered a fair prenup. Her share grew every year of the marriage, and child support can’t be signed away anyway. Her side still came back asking for: • gifts worth a set amount every year • a push present over $150K for each child • a minimum number of vacations a year • a Botox and filler budget during the marriage and for years after it ends So he flipped it. If she prices what he owes her, he gets to price what she owes him. The interviewer called his version gross. His answer: so is hers. I’m not against a woman wanting security. He isn’t either. He’d already built her a deal that pays more the longer she stays. What I notice is the shift from “protect me if this fails” to “pay me for being here.” The first one is reasonable. The second one turns a wife into a contractor, and I don’t know many men who’d want to come home to that. If you need a Botox clause that outlives the marriage, you’re already planning the divorce.

Here is a thought that will trigger people from all sides of the political spectrum: Men are human beings worthy of life.

It is no small irony that after generations of boys being raised into men by single mothers, that women now can’t find any good men to marry or even date.

How consent works.
Replying to @celestialbe1ng
Prior to the event: "I do not consent" That's fine During the event: "I no longer consent to this" Again no issue After the event: "I regret what I did and now want to revoke consent" Not how it works Yes it really is that simple.

Oh, sweetie, have you ever considered doing something about your hatred of men? In the US, people go to college to move from working class to middle class. That's the point. I don't know how that works in other countries where there's less class mobility.
rest of this aside, continues to be a fascinating sleight of hand how rape is constantly reframed as a "middle-class" problem, as if working class women do not go to college, as if rape is not a driver of downward mobility, as if poor women dont face even more barriers to justice

Misandrists of a Chinese spy app I won’t name.
As well as endless women (and white knight men) posting misandrist content online, that gets boosted far too much. There are also plenty of women calling out misandry.

“Women understand women, and they hate each other.”
Why don't they tell men this when they're younger?

This is what I’ve been saying, but much more eloquent. Thank you for reposting it.
Women are never taught how to treat their men just as men were taught.

This is the kind of sickness MRAs are up against. Swap genders and tell me how funny it is.

Who keeps a society running when most people never stop to think about all the work happening behind the scenes? Men continue to fill many roles that are essential to everyday life. They build homes, repair roads, operate heavy machinery, maintain power systems, work in construction, agriculture, transportation, manufacturing, utilities, and countless other fields that people depend on every single day. When something breaks, needs to be built, moved, repaired, protected, or maintained, there are often men doing the work. That doesn't mean women aren't essential or that every man belongs in the same role. It simply means men bring particular strengths, interests, and abilities that have tremendous value to families and communities. Men also take on important responsibilities as fathers, husbands, mentors, first responders, soldiers, police officers, tradesmen, business owners, coaches, and community leaders. Some of the most important contributions never receive much attention because they happen quietly. A father working long hours to provide for his family, a mechanic keeping vehicles on the road, or a man teaching a young boy how to become responsible can have an enormous impact without ever making the news. A healthy society needs people willing to accept responsibility, do difficult work, protect others, build things, and keep going when the job isn't easy. Men have historically played a major role in all of those areas, and their contributions shouldn't be dismissed or taken for granted. How different would society look if we stopped taking the contributions of good men for granted and started appreciating just how much depends on them?

No lies told here.
Patriarchy wasn't invented. It was EARNED. Men didn't sit in a circle one day and say "how do we oppress women?" They were too busy trying not to let their entire bloodline get WIPED OUT by animals or invaders or bad weather. Before feminism. Before 9-5s. Before police. Before DoorDash. There was nature, and nature is TRYING TO KILL YOU. Someone has to kill the bear, the wolves before it kills your baby. Something has to fight the rival tribe that wants to rape your wife and behead your sons and steal your land. Something has to lift the boulders, chop the trees, climb the trees, build the wall, dig the trench, stand watch at 3AM in -20 degrees while his family sleeps. Who? Tell me who does that? Women? MEN DID IT. Because only men COULD do it. Patriarchy is not a conspiracy. It is biology meeting survival. Men took the role of the expendable sex because someone HAD to be expendable. And expendable they were. The deal was simple and brutal: Women are protected and cherished inside. Men are sacrificed outside. Women got safety. Men got the grave. That system built every civilization on earth. Every house you live in, every road you drive on, every freedom you have was paid for by male corpses you will never know the names of. So when you say "patriarchy oppresses women," what you really mean is "I'm ungrateful that men died so I could live long enough to hate them. If they had given you rights and freedom 400 yeats ago, humanity would have gone extinct.

ABUSE DOESN'T BECOME OKAY BECAUSE You’re A MAN There's a reaction male victims of domestic violence sometimes encounter that tells you exactly how differently we still view abuse when the victim is a man. “Why didn't he just leave?” Or worse: “Why didn't he fight back?” Think about that for a second. A man can be hit. Slapped. Punched. Threatened. Humiliated. Financially controlled. Have things thrown at him. Have his children used against him. He can have someone threaten to destroy his reputation or make allegations against him if he tries to leave. And somehow people can still look at the situation and think: He's bigger than her… So what's the problem? The problem is that physical strength doesn't magically give a man permission to use it. A man knows that the moment he physically defends himself, he could become the person everyone assumes is the aggressor. He may have children he's terrified of losing. A home. A career. A reputation. He may believe nobody will take him seriously… And sometimes, unfortunately, experience has taught him that he's right. So he stays. He absorbs it. He keeps quiet. And because he doesn't fit the picture many people have in their heads of what a domestic-violence victim looks like, nobody notices. That needs to change. A man shouldn't have to prove that he was physically incapable of defending himself before we're willing to call what happened to him abuse. Being stronger doesn't mean he deserved it. Being male doesn't mean it didn't hurt. And being ashamed or afraid to speak doesn't make him weak. If we actually believe domestic violence is wrong, then the standard shouldn't be complicated. Nobody deserves to be abused. Including men. #MenNeedToBeHeard #MaleVictims #DomesticViolence #MensIssues #MenToo #SupportMaleVictims
