Microsoft’s RX 9070 tech demo went from 1.8 FPS ➡️ 84 FPS while acceleration-structure memory dropped from ~12.7GB ➡️ just 774MB.
IMPORTANT: That’s a specialized DXR benchmark, NOT a claim that games are suddenly getting 47X more FPS.
But this could give developers much more headroom for complex ray-traced worlds.

En 2021, la Suisse choisissait le F-35 américain plutôt que le Rafale français, notamment grâce à une promesse : un prix fixe garanti pour ses 36 avions de combat.
Cinq ans plus tard, la facture dérape et Berne découvre que le prix prétendument garanti ne l'était pas vraiment !
Résultat : malgré une enveloppe supplémentaire de 394 millions de francs suisses, le pays ne pourrait finalement acheter que 30 appareils au lieu des 36 prévus.
Le gouvernement suisse vient officiellement de reconnaître les défaillances dans la gestion de ce contrat. Un aveu plutôt rare pour une acquisition militaire de plusieurs milliards d'euros.
Six avions perdus, des centaines de millions supplémentaires à payer et une question qui dérange : comment un pays réputé pour sa rigueur a-t-il pu se retrouver dans une telle situation ?

@higgsfield_ai sent us a cease and desist last night, asking us to shut down our Open Source Higgsfield challenge.
Our read on why they sent it. When the apps people pay for can be rebuilt in the open in two weeks, that’s an uncomfortable thing for a closed platform to watch.
So here’s us reiterating our promise to every builder in the challenge and community, and we’re keeping it:

Last night, @higgsfield sent @ComfyUI a cease and desist (attached)
They want the Open Source Higgsfield challenge taken down within 48 hours.
Their argument is that our use of the Higgsfield name and that using their CEO's likeness is an infringement violation (man, the irony). Claiming that it makes the event look like Higgsfield is associated with it.
This couldn't be farther from the truth, which is that Higgsfield made a promise to open source its product and never did.
For the past two weeks, builders have been recreating popular closed apps as open workflows anyone can run.
So we asked our community to deliver where Higgsfield failed: apps in the open, built by the community, for the community. We've made it clear that the challenge is organized by ComfyUI and not affiliated with or endorsed by Higgsfield.
When we started Comfy, we made the community a promise. Our product stays open, free, and yours. We’ve kept it every day since, and one letter isn’t going to change that.
The challenge stays up. Comfy and open source will win!

❗️ Lenovo's ThinkPlus FU100 fingerprint stick was marketed as "hardware encrypted" with AES-256, but inside was an ordinary SD card with nothing encrypted.
The fingerprint only switched on the USB link, researcher Xusheng Li found.
Lenovo's stopgap fix covered the card in epoxy.

Toujours sur le cul devant les résultats ** trimestriels ** des géants technologiques américains, surtout quand on voit l’indignation suscitée par les 8 milliards de bénéfices de Total, qui doit en plus faire du social en France et plafonner les prix à la pompe ("bouuuuh les méchants profits qui rapportent des milliards à L'État").
Google réalise 128 milliards de dollars de CA et 26 milliards de bénéfices nets, un résultat pourtant jugé décevant, tout en investissant des centaines de milliards dans l’IA comme tous les autres.
Microsoft : 92 milliards de CA, 36 milliards de bénéfices nets.
Meta : 64 milliards de CA, 10 milliards de bénéfices nets.
Comment veux-tu jouer dans la même cour que ces géants, qui sont littéralement des machines à imprimer des billets ? Le seul destin d’une entreprise technologique française qui parviendrait à décoller, c’est de partir aux États-Unis, puis de se faire racheter. On ne joue pas du tout dans la même catégorie en matière de capitaux. On est des clochards à côté.

昨天几十万浏览的那个姿势库镜像，原作条款其实写了禁止再分发，我干脆用 21 小时自己重做了一套 CC0 免费版。
一共 288 个姿势 × 5 个机位，1133 张质检过的线稿，全靠 3 个 AI agent 用共享记忆接力跑完。拿到白模后配张角色图喂给生图模型就能换姿势，工作流随后放出。
核心提示词分两步：
1. 先让生图模型出一张真人实图把姿势定住，模特穿修身白背心和黑色 leggings，身体轮廓才出得来；
2. 再把这张实图和下面这句一起丢进去转成线稿：
