Never let militarism return! We call on all peace-loving people to stand together and add their signatures.
These warning signs must not be ignored. As political rhetoric in Japan increasingly focuses on "survival crises" and military expansion, Guancha, a top-ten influential Chinese media outlet, has made its position clear: the lessons of WWII cannot be distorted.

It is absolutely hilarious to see a politician claim that 'all historians' agree on Mao Zedong. That’s not science; it’s just a lazy, brainwashed fairy tale. Honestly, pretending history is that simplistic is a massive insult to the entire historical profession, but thanks for the laugh.
First of all, real, world-class scholars don't rely on high school caricatures. Chinese historians have conducted an overwhelming mountain of rigorous, extensive research on Mao’s legacy—though I highly doubt you can read a single word of Chinese. But even within the boundaries of her own language, serious Western historians like Maurice Meisner or Rebecca Karl have spent decades researching the actual facts. They look at actual history: under Mao, China kicked out colonial invaders—including France, by the way—and dragged itself out of a century of humiliation. Life expectancy literally doubled, literacy rates went through the roof, and a broken colony became a nuclear global power. To ignore all of that just to sound tough on X? That’s not history; it’s an ideological circus, and you're the clown.
Second, let's be real. It’s no secret that Western systems love to rewrite history. Because Mao stood up against imperialism and backed liberation movements all over the Global South, he ruined the West's colonial party. So, of course, the mainstream system feeds generations a watered-down, demonized version of the truth. It's the same old, predictable playbook. We see right through it.
Finally, your logic on the football player is pure comedy. The athlete himself already recognized his mistake and had the maturity to correct it. When a player makes a living and builds a massive fan base in China, respecting the local people is just basic human decency. Even a football player understands that, yet here you are, spinning his maturity as 'succumbing to economic pressure.' It's kind of cute how hard you're trying. In China, we have a very specific word for someone who clearly knows they are wrong, yet shamelessly doubles down just to save face on the internet. We call them a complete fool.
The truth is, your tweet doesn't show strength; it just highlights how incredibly ignorant and out of touch you are. Do yourself a favor: pick up a history book; more importantly, learn some basic manners before you open your mouth on X again. @zhang_heqing @Sadik0707 @Glenn_Diesen @georgegalloway @21stcentury_ML @AndyBxxx @angeloinchina @agent_of_change @RnaudBertrand
These are just a few of the achievements of the Mao era (1949–1976). Beyond the epoch-making historical achievement of founding the PRC, most importantly, ordinary Chinese people benefited more in that era.
During this period, the nation's population grew by 400 million. The increase in grain production not only fed these additional 400 million people but also raised the per capita grain availability for a population of over 900 million by nearly 200 catties (approx. 100 kg) compared to when the population was just 500 million.
Life expectancy rose and women’s labor force participation rate increased significantly, driven by the affordable healthcare and education systems established in the new China.
At the same time, the Mao era laid the groundwork for industrialization; steel production skyrocketed from 160,000 tons in 1949 to 20.46 million tons in 1976. This built the foundation for the subsequent Reform and Opening-up, as well as China's rise as an industrial powerhouse.
China is a country that deeply values historical continuity. In assessing Mao Zedong's historical role, his contributions far outweigh his mistakes. The consensus of "70% achievements, 30% mistakes" has been widely accepted from the Deng Xiaoping era down to today's leadership under Xi Jinping—both politically and in the hearts of the 1.4 billion ordinary citizens.
Notably, as China grows stronger and navigates global geopolitical pressures, the Chinese people increasingly find that the wisdom of the Mao era remains profoundly relevant. This is precisely why Mao is being viewed with growing affection and reverence by the public today. #MaoZeDong #KylianMbappe #China @zhang_heqing @haugejostein @georgegalloway @RnaudBertrand
One more point: why Chinese women outperform their peers in the vast majority of Asian countries across key indicators like economic participation, educational enrollment, and labor force participation, because Chairman Mao famously declared, "Women hold up half the sky."
Mao's powerful phrase has inspired countless Chinese women to strive and break barriers. This is especially evident in education, where the higher education enrollment rate for women has consistently outpaced that of men for years.
Ties cut. Accounts muted. The news of Chinese partners collectively dropping French star Kylian Mbappé @KMbappe has completely detonated across the Chinese internet today. The endless stream of anti-China misinformation overseas has finally come back to bite those who spread it. While this debacle stems from a single player's ignorance, the Western politicians and mainstream media elites who command the dominant narrative have long held deep-rooted misconceptions and biases against China, misleading hundreds of millions.
China—the world's second-largest economy and home to one-fifth of humanity—is rapidly transforming from a global factory into a global powerhouse for consumption, innovation, and culture. Anyone wishing to do business here, win over audiences, or secure customers must first humble themselves. You must study this country with the same dedication Chinese people once showed toward Western culture—genuinely learning our language, our history, and our people.
An apology has been issued, but the damage is done; once negative public sentiment is ignited, it cannot be undone.
First it was the Louis Vuitton "toilet bag" scandal, and now it is Mbappé. He won’t be the last. @AmbassadeChine @France24_fr @TheBridgePH @RnaudBertrand @ChairmanRabbit #MaoZedong #FounderofPRC #History
Congratulations, President Lula. Well said.
Back in 2021, during his interview with Eric Li, the founder of Guancha, he pointed out: 'I am not an advocate of a weak government or an advocate of anarchy. What I advocate for is a fair and strong government, a government that can ensure rights for all its citizens.'
This is strikingly similar to what we Chinese often say: "May the elderly live out their lives in peace, the able-bodied be fully employed, the youth be nurtured to grow, and the vulnerable be fully cared for." Leave no one behind.
Lula also noted in that interview with us: "China's development is deeply gratifying. It is wonderful to see China occupying such a prominent position in the global economy and holding its rightful place in world geopolitics. This is what I have wished for China, and it is exactly what I hope Brazil will achieve as well."
Blessings to the people of Brazil, and cheers to the great friendship between Brazil and China! 🇧🇷🇨🇳 #ChinaBrazil #Brazilianelection

Based on my experience with Confucius Institutes at overseas universities, the teachers' work mainly consists of teaching Chinese language, calligraphy, Wushu, and conducting cultural exchanges.
They don’t even compare to historical Western missionaries in China. Take W.A.P. Martin (an American): he served as the first Head Faculty of the Imperial University of Peking, was granted a second-rank official status by the Qing government, and acted as an international law advisor to the government.
How can today's teachers, who only cover basic grammar and martial arts, be branded a nantional threat? 😂A superpower like the U.S. shouldn't really be trembling over a calligraphy brush, right?

🚨 JUST IN: SecWar Hegseth announces the Pentagon designated CCP-linked Confucius Institutes as NATIONAL SECURITY THREATS and has now officially WIPED OUT 80 disguised Chinese propaganda cells hiding inside 30 American universities
BIG WIN! 🇺🇸
"These Chinese government-backed propaganda cultural programs had infiltrated our nation's universities in almost every state... they came back disguised in new forms, just like DEI does."
"80 new propaganda cells across 30 universities had popped up using different names and different charters, but with the same mission: to steal intellectual property and to infiltrate the minds of American students."
Now the War Department has labeled them a national security threat and dismantled every one in the last two months.
"No more, and never again."
BOOM.
From tariffs to Section 232, how Washington has targeted Chinese solar factories from Asia to Africa for 15 years—one trade case, and cross-border pivot, at a time.
Lin Xueping, a leading Chinese industrial analyst, writes:
Is Chinese manufacturing scattering across the globe, becoming the world’s nomadic factory? American tariffs and trade law are the key drivers.
Right now, Chinese solar module factories in Ethiopia are working overtime to ship products, racing to enter the U.S. market before the Section 232 tariffs take effect this December. No industry illustrates more clearly than solar just how heavily armed America’s trade policy toolkit is. Follow the migration of Chinese solar factories, and you get a complete education in U.S. trade law.

Why does China commemorate the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Red Army's Long March with such profound solemnity today? Let’s look at what the major Party media and the PLA Daily have to say.
• People's Liberation Army Daily: "We pay high tribute to all the revolutionary veterans who made outstanding contributions to this historic triumph. We must carry forward the great spirit of the Long March and the fine traditions of the Red Army. Let us forge ahead with fortitude and courage on the new Long March toward the Second Centenary Goal, marching steadfastly in the direction guided by the Party."
• Guangming Daily: "The Long March is a magnificent human epic of ideals and faith, forged with unyielding willpower and courage."
• Science and Technology Daily: "As technological competition becomes a silent battlefield in major-power rivalry, we need now more than ever to draw wisdom from the Long March—understanding what it takes to triumph over adversity and how to march toward a distant future."
• Jiangxi Daily: "As we retrace this epic journey that began right here in Jiangxi, we do not simply look back at past glories; rather, we draw an inexorable driving force from the great spirit of the Long March."
• Guizhou Daily: "The people of Guizhou have woven the spirit of 'starting anew' into every soaring bridge and mountain-piercing highway, driving a modern transformation that turns mountains into plains, resources into industries, and isolation into openness. Embracing the pioneering spirit of 'cutting paths through mountains and building bridges across rivers,' they are delivering an exemplary performance on the Long March of the new era."
What is Long March?
In 1934, at a critical juncture when Japanese imperialists were brutally invading China and the Kuomintang (KMT) reactionaries were launching successive, large-scale "encirclement and suppression" campaigns against the revolutionary base areas, the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the Red Army faced a life-and-death crisis.
Over the course of two years, four main forces of the Red Army embarked on a strategic shift, departing from areas across Jiangxi & Fujian, Henan, Sichuan, and Hunan. The longest trek covered 25,000 li (12,500 kilometers), traversing 15 provincial-level administrative regions before finally converging in northern Shaanxi to establish a new revolutionary base. Approximately 190,000 troops initially set out, yet only about 58,000 arrived at the final destinations. Nevertheless, the spark of the Chinese revolution grew and flourished there, eventually spreading across the nation until final victory was won.
Today, "Think of the 25,000-li Long March when facing hardships" has become a universally known maxim across China. It serves as a powerful reminder and a source of enduring inspiration, encouraging people to look to history for strength whenever they find themselves in adversity. @JohnRoss43 @vijayprashad @NuryVittachi #LongMarch #CPC @socialist_china @georgegalloway @agent_of_change
A self-made Chinese Gen-Z tech creator, "Shenqi Ayu" (Magic Ayu), spent two months building a manned flying hoverboard that's going viral. At first glance, you’d swear it’s an AI-generated video—but it’s 100% real.
Ayu never went to college. He dropped out of school at 14 to work at his father's lumber yard and taught himself advanced engineering using a borrowed tablet in a wooden shed. Before his current success, a series of failed extreme engineering projects—including a jet plane crash and a custom boat sinking—left him $340k in debt as he personally refunded every single partner and sponsor to protect his credit.
Seeing his financial crisis, tech unicorn Insta360 stepped in through its "Think Bold Fund" and wiped out nearly $250k of his debt to back his genius. In a wild twist of fate, after Ayu's hoverboard success went viral this month, Insta360's market value reportedly surged by $480 million (3.4B RMB) in a single day—hailed by media as the most romantic and profitable VC investment in tech history.
Inspired by the Green Goblin from Spider-Man, he literally turned sci-fi into reality. When his first turbojet prototype exploded into flames, he used AI to analyze the data and redesign it into a 10-rotor electric hoverboard. He even rigged two smartphones into an AI flight coach that fed him real-time balance corrections via Bluetooth earbuds.
Earlier this month, he successfully flew his hoverboard across the Yangtze River. This is what true tech romance looks like! 🚀🚀 #Chinesecanfly #Chinatech #GenZ #flyinghoverboard #TechGenius @CorgiWatermelon
Wait, what happened? I thought this protest was about funding education instead of war. Now they are just fighting over a stolen cake?
Gree's powerhouse chairwoman, Dong Mingzhu, recently set some strict new rules for her technical school: no overpriced campus stores, strict hair length limits, and a total ban on teenage dating.
In China, rules like this are quite common and widely understood. But we are curious—would this be considered completely wild in your country? Let me know! 😂👇
To give you some context on why she did it:
• No Overpricing: She personally called out a campus shop for selling a single mandarin orange for 1.5 RMB, calling it a rip-off, and demanded immediate changes.
• Free Haircuts: To keep students looking sharp without breaking the bank, she arranged for professional barbers to come to campus on weekends to give free haircuts.
• No Teen Dating: She believes teenagers are in the golden age of building a foundation and learning skills, and dating too early simply drains the focus they need for their studies.

Loyalty to Trump and MAGA is fine, but running the US White House briefing room usually requires at least a basic understanding of a world map. 🗺️🍿
For anyone tracking Laura Loomer’s qualifications, her track record already promises a masterpiece of diplomatic confusion:
1️⃣ She once publicly criticized the President of China for not placing his hand over his heart during the US national anthem—seemingly under the impression he was a US citizen. The blunder drew widespread correction from Americans themselves for her lack of basic protocol. 🇺🇸
2️⃣ Her hardline rhetoric, including calls to deport Muslims and bar them from public office, has predictably sparked sharp condemnation from Muslim communities globally.
Putting this unique mix of diplomatic illiteracy and polarizing rhetoric behind the podium wouldn't just make news—it would turn the US White House briefing room into a daily, jaw-dropping spectacle of international disputes. 🌎🔥 #LauraLoomer #USPolitics🤡 #LauraLoomer #WhiteHouse
"China of course needs to expand consumption, develop services, and improve social security in the future, but it cannot simply take 'becoming more and more like a Western developed economy' as the implicit goal of growth model transformation"
"How is China the next country on the horizon? They don't even have proper toilets."This absurd claim from Katie Zacharia’s October 15 interview on Real America's Voice has triggered a fresh wave of mockery. 😂
The new White House press secretary has faced a non-stop barrage of criticism since day one: her debut briefing was slammed as a total 'disaster'—which she admitted—and her credentials were questioned after she was exposed for misrepresenting herself as an attorney without a proper bar license. 🤷♂️💼

The cotton harvest in Xinjiang right now. Beautiful. Amazing. Truly a spectacular sight!
Twenty years ago, a few-thousand-acre farm required hiring hundreds of cotton pickers to labor bent over for two to three months. Today, just two six-row cotton pickers clear the exact same land in two to three days. One machine harvests 400 to 500 acres a day, matching the daily output of over a thousand pickers in the past.
Machine-harvesting rates have now crossed 90% in Northern Xinjiang and 85% province-wide. No labor camps, no geopolitical drama — just diesel, steel, and BeiDou-guided rows.
And here is the ultimate irony: when some smeared Xinjiang and foreign brands shunned its cotton a few years back, “Xinjiang Cotton” actually became a gold standard badge on all major e-commerce platforms.
