My friend @pgmuscat released his very interesting (and fun!) game - Normal Golf Game - on Steam. Only $8. I finished it a couple weeks ago and couldn't stop playing. It's a ton of fun mastering the golf swing mechanics and completing the often whacky challenges (as well as normal golf holes). Very recommended. I hope it blows up for him! It deserves too. While he's a friend I don't just shill things I don't love myself, so take that for what it's worth. store.steampowered.com/app/3…

this might legitimately be the funniest video out there. the horses looked genuinely so baffled, like they had no idea what moose was or that we could do that.

It’s hard to imagine many people having a bigger impact than Dolly Parton. Born in a one-room cabin, she earned 11 Grammys and an Emmy, built a business empire, helped millions of kids learn to read, and — as if that wasn’t enough — helped accelerate the research that led to the Moderna COVID vaccine. What a life. Michelle and I are thinking of Dolly’s family and her many, many fans.
Breaking News: Dolly Parton, the country singer, songwriter, entertainer and entrepreneur known for her outsize persona and prodigious vision and talent that placed her in a class by herself, has died at 80. nyti.ms/45Prr77

The time Dolly Parton and Kermit jammed to Sly and the Family Stone. This is always how I will remember her.

I didn’t know Dolly Parton well. I did an event with her in 2020 and met her backstage briefly. She spent hours taking photos before she put on her show. The line out of her dressing room was massive but she made sure every single person got a picture. I wasn’t expecting one. I didn’t want to get my hopes up. (I can be pretty pessimistic sometimes.) I stood in the hall getting ready for my speech and overhearing her dote on each person that met her. Two hours later, when the line was gone, my friend said, “Do you want to meet Dolly?” I have to imagine she was exhausted. Even introverts get tired from so many micro conversations with so many strangers. She was 75, about to do a long concert (for charity) and probably ready to be done with that part of her night. Instead, she took one more photo and I got a memory that made me look like a cool dad to my kids. She even complimented my kin, Roy Acuff, who she knew through the Grand Ole Opry. God bless Dolly Parton and the impact she made on millions. She was 1 of 1.
