There's a very disturbing trend being seen in early voting. Texas, Florida, Tennessee, Ohio are reporting difficulties getting the machines to accept democratic votes. You vote for a democrat, the machine changes it to a Republican vote. Outrageous!

Back when I was teaching over the pandemic, there was a kid who barely showed up to class Zoom sessions, never did HW, and scored worse than random guessing on tests. Parents unresponsive.
I put an F in the gradebook and sent a heads-up email to my supervisor.
The response:
"But he's a bright kid. He did well on the entry test 3 years ago. He has potential. But he may need some help outside of class. It's our job as educators to be there for our students. Are you going to be there for him?"
Later found out the grade got changed to a C.

I face more ideological resistance from students today than I did 10 years ago.
Here's what I mean.
Yesterday, I had a group of 14-year-olds argue with me about capitalization.
Many of them rarely use capital letters correctly in their writing, and they genuinely believe capitalization is unnecessary, or even "dumb."
When I told them that I take points off for ignoring capitalization, they insisted it was unfair.
Ten years ago, I almost never had conversations like this.
Students might have forgotten the rules. They might have been careless. But they rarely argued that the rules themselves didn't matter.

If we had a functioning free press, reporters would routinely challenge Republicans when they repeat the lie about children getting trans surgeries at school. It's easy, just ask for a single case. One example. They would eventually stop regurgitating that bullshit.

If God's OT standards on capital punishment are "repeated" and eternal and Rome contradicts God by restricting it - why aren't YOU stoning adulterers, homosexuals, Sabbath-breakers, disobedient sons, and fortune-tellers?
God commanded death penalty for all of those in Leviticus 20 and Deut 21. You don't enforce them. By your own logic, you contradict God.
You already admit: OT judicial death penalty laws were not eternal moral law, they were civil law for Israel and their application can develop.
That's exactly what Rome says.
1. Gen 9:6 and Rom 13:4 teach state CAN use sword - Catholic Church still teaches that principle. Trent, Aquinas, Pius XII never said death penalty is intrinsically evil.
2. What Francis says in 2267 and what Leo recently said is prudential: TODAY with secure prisons, we can protect society without killing, and modern understanding of dignity makes it inadmissible to do so.
That's not "God vs Pope." The same move God does Himself: "You have heard it said an eye for an eye... but I say to you..."
If the Vicar can't apply mercy and restrict bloodshed in light of the Gospel, then Jesus contradicted God too.
And your last line destroys Sola Scriptura: You say "believe God's voice over man" - but you only know Gen 9:6 IS God's voice because the Catholic Church told you which books are Scripture at Carthage/Hippo. If Rome has no authority to preserve faith, you have no Bible to quote.
You can't use Rome's Bible to prove Rome apostatized for not killing people enough.

I visit schools all the time and I can confirm 100% of teachers are brainwashing kids with these radical political views:
• Racism is bad
• Discriminating against disabled people is wrong
• Hitler and the Nazis were the baddies
• Bullying isn't a personality trait
• Making your work anonymous isn't helpful

Judging the teaching profession for educational outcomes is a bit like judging the medical profession for the prevalence of coronary heart disease.
You can impact it, you can try to fix it, but ultimately there is a significant amount outside of your control.
