This exhibit is long overdue and has been a major gap in our magnificent Human Rights Museumβs treatment of the history of mass displacement and genocide in the world. Congratulations to the Museum for adhering to the principles on which it was created. @MarcMillerVM
The Canadian Museum for Human Rights is set to launch its groundbreaking exhibit on the Nakba, which has been developed alongside the Palestinian Canadian community.
Unfortunately, the Museum is facing relentless attacks from the pro-Israel lobby, which is exerting major pressure on @MarcMillerVM to have the exhibition cancelled. Miller has so far declined to interfere with the Museumβs programming.
Join us in emailing Minister Miller and the CMHR to encourage him to stand firm in support of the Nakba exhibit, defend museum independence, and reject efforts to silence Palestinian histories.

Jeff Bezos fired more than 300 people and didnβt even arrange for them to get safely home.
Staffers were abandoned in foreign countries and war zones and are having to crowd source to get home.
One of the richest men in the world left them behind.

If Jeff Bezos could afford to spend $75 million on the Melania movie & $500 million for a yacht to sail off to his $55 million wedding to give his wife a $5 million ring, please don't tell me he needed to fire one-third of the Washington Post staff.
Democracy dies in oligarchy.

A statement like this is highly unusual and should be heeded.
All 3 Alberta Courts are VERY concerned about the erosion the rule of law & the subsequent risks to democracy.
Anyone who claims that the threats are overblown needs to sit down & let serious people deal.
