Patrick Mahomes in a better situation last year was also not the solution. The idea that if he was only a tier better as a qb than this would look fine is ridiculous. Almost every nook and cranny of this team is playing below their well established levels. Problem is systemic

I thought Herbert was excellent in 2024. Deserved of the adulation people give him. I thought he helped keep the offense afloat in 2025 when not many others could. But the Chargers were top-8 in EPA/play on defense both seasons. It's never this simple. nitter.cf/billybo81034018/status…

Dude, back to back 11 wins with absolute shit and he doesn’t elevate or do more with less? You gotta realize that if Herbert wasn’t quarterbacking the Chargers the last two years they win 0-2 games. Quentin Johnson still having a starting job is malpractice
