AI can optimize thousands of ad decisions in minutes. But are we measuring the right outcomes? At Horizon Media, we're focused on connecting performance across the media ecosystem so clients can see what's actually driving growth. More automation needs better measurement, not just more data. adweek.com/sponsored/measure…
What happens when an industry puts its influence behind one mission? At Horizon Media, we're partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters to help more young people access mentorship, with 100+ partners and $15M+ in donated media. This is what Business is Personal looks like! prnewswire.com/news-releases…
AI is transforming the digital world, so why is advertising getting more physical? I think it makes perfect sense. At Horizon Media, we're using AI to help brands find more meaningful ways to connect with people. The goal isn't more ads everywhere. It's better experiences where they matter. adweek.com/media/ai-advertis…
AI may be about to break the traditional #marketing career ladder.
Gartner found that 18% of marketing leaders surveyed had already eliminated some roles because of #AI, while nearly one-third had reworked existing functions. Its prediction is that a majority of high-performing marketing teams could eliminate traditional entry-level jobs by 2030.
The efficiency story is pretty straightforward. The organizational question is much harder.
For decades, junior marketers learned by doing the work that AI can now do faster: research, analysis, content production, reporting, and other foundational tasks. Those jobs were also where people developed judgment.
If we remove that layer, where does the next generation learn how to think?
I think this is where the conversation about AI and organizational adoption needs to get more sophisticated. Companies will need to redesign the operating model so that human talent and AI work together differently.
Give junior marketers higher-value problems earlier. Let AI handle more of the mechanical work while people learn to evaluate outputs, find insights, make decisions, and connect recommendations to business outcomes. Otherwise, we may create a strange paradox: organizations become more efficient at producing marketing today while becoming less capable of developing the people who will lead marketing tomorrow.
The real question is how many jobs AI can eliminate, and what kind of talent pipeline we build after it does.

The fastest way to make AI less useful is to trap it in a silo.
That’s why we built HorizonOS and Blu to work across the broader media ecosystem. Better context leads to better decisions, and the goal is to give people more information to work with, not less. adweek.com/creativity/how-be…
The faster AI moves, the more important it becomes to know when people need to step in. At Horizon, we're building AI to help our teams make decisions while keeping people close enough to understand what's happening and intervene when needed. More capability requires more thoughtful oversight. adweek.com/media/sam-altman-…
A bad idea is getting cheaper to find. Why? AI lets creative teams test a rough concept before the full production budget follows it. If it falls flat, find out before the cameras roll. If people respond, there's a much stronger case for investing in it. That's a better place to make a budget decision overall. adage.com/opinion/aa-how-ai-…
What happens when brands start building the technology agencies used to bring to the table?
PepsiCo is bringing more AI capabilities in-house. At Horizon, we're taking a different path with HorizonOS: staying open so we can plug in the best technology as it evolves.
Agencies will earn their place by knowing how to put that technology to work in the best way for their clients. adage.com/technology/ai/aa-p…
Big news for Horizon Media! We're finalists in TWO categories at the 2026 Microsoft Advertising Partner Awards: Performance AI Innovation + Data Integration Excellence. AI gets smarter when it's connected to the right data. Proud of our teams for turning both into real results for clients. 🤞 linkedin.com/posts/horizon-m…
Big news from Horizon: we're expanding our partnership with Roku and bringing Roku TV viewing data directly into our Blu system.
Our teams will be able to see what people are watching, use those insights to plan smarter, and keep adjusting our campaigns as fresh data comes in.
Better information. Better decisions. More opportunities to improve the work for our clients. I couldn't be prouder of both teams for bringing this to life! adexchanger.com/tv/horizon-i…
“Good enough — go” is a dangerous standard for AI.
At Horizon, the goal isn’t to use AI to produce more for the sake of speed. It’s to help people make better business decisions, with transparent inputs and human judgment still in the loop.
Faster only matters if the work gets better. digiday.com/marketing/market…
I've been talking about Perplexity for a while, and it's definitely getting more interesting. Search is moving from "find me some links" toward "find the right option and help me act on it." If more searches end with such an answer or an action instead of a results page, we need to start building for that behavior now… not later. fastcompany.com/91600914/may…
The amazing Katy Ferguson is joining Beet Retreat LA this November! She always brings great energy, sharp thinking and a willingness to push the conversation further. Have some fun out there, Katy. 🌴 #BeetLA lnkd.in/p/gKzxGvsg
Retail media moves fast. The problem is, acting on the data often doesn’t.
That’s the gap Horizon Commerce and Pacvue are working to close: connecting clearer cross-retailer insights with faster action, so teams can put the next dollar to work while the opportunity is still there. martechcube.com/horizon-comm…
AI doesn't break down silos. Sometimes it just gives you three different answers faster.
That's why we're building HorizonOS as an open ecosystem. What we learn from one campaign should travel across platforms and inform the next decision. AI will always keep changing, so it's only natural that our intelligence should keep moving with it. fastcompany.com/91594546/ai-…
80% of people say AI is helping them work more efficiently, but that productivity doesn't automatically change a business. The bigger opportunity is redesigning how work gets done so people can spend more time applying judgment, creativity and brain power where it matters most. We're still early. That's what makes this fun.

AI can make a decision in seconds. That makes bad data a much bigger problem. At Horizon, we're focused on connecting better intelligence with human judgment so speed doesn't come at the expense of context. AI will keep getting faster. The data feeding it needs to keep getting better.
Your martech stack should come with an exit door. Connected shouldn't mean captured. As AI changes the tools we use, marketers need the freedom to adapt without leaving their data and intelligence behind. A good tech partner shouldn't need to lock the door to convince you to stay. adage.com/studio-30/publishi…
I think we're about to retire one of marketing's favorite AI metrics: "Look how much content we made."
Speed was the easy win. Now I want to know what happened next. Did AI help us understand the audience better, make a smarter decision, or help a client grow?
That's a scoreboard worth watching.
The agency black box has had a pretty good run. I think it’s time to open it.
At Horizon, we’re using AI to give clients a clearer view of what their marketing is actually producing and move toward a model where our success is tied to theirs.
That’s the agency relationship I want to build. cynopsis.com/streamlined-8-1…
