The Irish Minister for Justice has been put on notice of potential legal action over the refusal of study visa to students from Gaza who secured fully funded university scholarships in Ireland.
An absolute disgrace by the Department of Justice which has confirmed it is treating the Palestinian students in Gaza the same as any other international students regarding visas. No concession for them living in a genocide. Utterly shameful #GazaGenocide

The Chief Constable did not know lawyers representing the PSNI in a civil action over the shooting of three Catholic brothers were questioning one of the victims’ cause of death, the High Court heard on Monday.
The three victims were shot after gunmen entered the family’s home in Whitecross, Co Armagh back in January 1976.
Their brother, Eugene Reavey, claims members of the Ulster Defence Regiment and the Royal Ulster Constabulary joined with a notorious UVF gang in the plot to murder the three victims and is seeking damages for negligence, misfeasance in public office and trauma from his alleged treatment in the aftermath of the attack.
Gavin Booth, Phoenix Law and Mr Reavey have given their reaction to the Irish News, with Mr Reavey stating that Chief Constable Jon Boutcher is an “honourable man” who has “kept his word.”

Belfast ranks 32nd per capita for asylum seekers in the UK.
Northern Ireland hosts 2,379 in total. That’s 0.1% of its population.
NI is 97% white.
Asylum seekers are not “illegal migrants”; they’re going through a legal government process.

From sentencing remarks of a High Court Judge in Belfast not even a week ago: “a brutal and frenzied attack that involved the use of a knife”, so complex that pathology couldn’t determine the fatal sequence.
Almost 1/2 of murders in NI recently have a domestic abuse motivation.
