western chauvinism is crazy because your entire society is run by landlords pedophiles and religious fanatics, you can do nothing to stop them, they have stalled progress in your country for generations, yet somehow you still have the temerity to call other leaders "dictators"

Regardless of which war criminal becomes prime minister, Palestinians living under Israeli apartheid will continue to face genocide, land theft, and erasure. We cannot accept lies, excuses, or half-measures from our leaders. We must impose a full arms embargo and sanctions until Palestine is free.

Nuke Tel Aviv.
IDF renovations for Jared Kushner’s “Gaza Riviera” have just started in Rafah. Concrete mixed with the ashes of incinerated Palestinian children.

“Let me die,” American photojournalist Heidi Levine repeats to journalists Jasper Nathaniel as they try to outrun masked Israeli settlers who attacked her on Friday while she covered the olive harvest in the West Bank village of Abu Falah, near Ramallah. Around 80 settlers attacked Palestinian olive harvesters in the village, AP reported. The Palestinian Red Crescent said it treated six people injured in two attacks in Abu Falah. Levine, a freelancer for the Washington Post, told the Committee to Protect Journalists that the settlers knocked her down and kicked her for at least 10 minutes, even after she identified herself as an American journalist. They stole her camera, phone and bag. She was eventually taken to a hospital in Ramallah. "The IDF provided cover, with tear gas and machine guns, while the settlers beat" Levine "nearly to death," Nathaniel wrote, adding that soldiers then shot a Palestinian bystander and aimed their guns at and shoved paramedics trying to treat him. AP photos and circulating videos show Israeli soldiers standing over a wounded Palestinian man after they shot him. Andrey X, an activist also at the scene, said a Palestinian man "saved our lives from the settler-terrorists who attacked the olive harvesters and journalists” armed only with a slingshot.
To be clear, the only reason I was able to reach Heidi was because young Palestinians provided cover with rocks against machine-gun- and tear-gas-wielding settlers and soldiers. It’s those kids, not the settler terrorists, who the IDF was hunting after the attack.

BUTELRIAN JIHAD HAS BEEN CALLED DESTROY THE THINKING MACHINES
In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

⚡️ 53 U.S. senators voted to block a resolution that would have forced the State Department to report on the killings of American citizens by Israeli settlers and soldiers in the occupied West Bank. The privileged resolution, led by Sens. Chris Van Hollen, Tim Kaine and Bernie Sanders, invoked Section 502B of the Foreign Assistance Act. It would have required a report within 30 days on: ➤ Investigations into the killings of U.S. citizens by settlers or Israeli forces ➤ The human rights situation in the West Bank, specifically the detention of Palestinian children If the administration failed to deliver the report, most U.S. security assistance to Israel would have been cut off, according to the sponsors. The resolution notes nine Americans have been killed in the West Bank since 2022 and none have received accountability or justice from either the Israeli or U.S. government.
BREAKING: John Fetterman is the lone Democratic senator to vote AGAINST Sen. Chris Van Hollen’s resolution to require the Department of State to report to Congress on Israel’s humanitarian abuses and killings of Americans in the West Bank. Sen. Rand Paul is the only Republican who joined Democrats in voting Yes. The motion thus failed 47-53, but this is a seismic shift in the Senate regarding U.S.-Israel relations.

I genuinely need people to understand what they are being asked to normalize here. Mamdani campaigned on arresting Netanyahu. Today Netanyahu came to NYC, received massive police protection, and anti-genocide protesters were arrested by the NYPD.

So this is what electing a democratic socialist mayor can get you: corporations issuing groveling apologies for underpaying their workers
Since 2023, more than 200,000 Dashers in New York City were underpaid or paid late under the City’s delivery worker pay rules. These errors were unintentional, but that doesn’t make them acceptable. Dashers should be paid in full, on time, every time. We take full responsibility, and we’re deeply sorry. We’ve reached a $131.5 million settlement with the NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection. Every impacted Dasher will receive the amount they are owed, and they’ll be contacted directly with payment details. We understand the impact of even one missed or late payment. We’ve addressed the issues that caused these errors and made changes to prevent them from happening again. Read more here: about.doordash.com/en-us/new….
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
theguardian.com/us-news/2026/s… The City of New York asserts this was not a mistake. “For years, DoorDash failed to count every hour worked by delivery workers,” Mayor Mamdani said. “This was not a rounding error or an accidental mistake.“

socialism is for the liberation of the poor and colonized people. it is a political struggle to overthrow the bourgeoisie and establish a dictatorship of the working class. It is not a social club to agitate for nice neighborhoods for the petit bourgeoisie under capitalism.
