For the first time , the Secretariat will directly support Counties to implement PFM Reforms.
Together with my colleagues from CRA, National Treasury and COG made presentations to the Senate Finance & Budget Committee to discuss the Division of Revenue Bill, County Allocation of Revenue Bill and County Government Additional Allocation Bill FY2024-25.

The Commission on Revenue Allocation (CRA) is one of Kenya's most fundamental independent Commissions defined in Article 216 of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.
The Commission is currently undertaking a review process ahead of the development of the fourth generation formula that is due for submission to the Honorable Senate.
I was privileged to debrief with Commissioners Koitamet Ole Kina, Ben Muasya, Fatuma Gedi and Hadija Juma when they paid me a courtesy call at my Elimu na Mazingira House office. We deliberated on key issues on interest to Coastal counties to ensure the new formula is equitable.
