We went from one computer per company to one per desk to one per person. Hundreds of agents per engineer is just the next step in that curve. It always felt impossible until it didn’t.

yeah. agents are like employees, but AI

tried running one little automation bot last year... ended up babysitting it like a toddler with a laptop

This is an insightful outlook on the future of engineering. Embracing AI agents will indeed reshape our work landscape. Thanks for sharing the roadmap! Looking forward to diving into it.

100x engineer? more like 100x project manager for digital interns lol

@sairahul1 honestly can't imagine juggling 100s of agents like that. feels more like babysitting than engineering at some point 😂

can't wait to dive into this over the weekend! 🚀

agents don't replace expertise, they amplify it you can only catch their mistakes if you already know the right answer. so the gap between great engineers and mediocre ones isn't closing, it's about to widen a lot
16
100s of agents sounds right but feels like missing a layer most engineers i know first need 1 agent they actually trust, wired into their real stack, with logs and alerts scaling chaos is easy, scaling reliability is the hard part

面白そう!未来の仕事はAIエージェントを管理することですね。楽しみです!

The hard part isn't managing 100 agents. It's knowing when to stop watching them. I run 12 that keep my startup moving and the biggest productivity unlock was learning to not intervene every 5 minutes. Same mistake people make with junior devs.
64
Managing 100s of agents isn't the hard part - orchestrating them is. The real work shifts from writing code to building evaluation loops and clean context handoffs between agents. Built something similar - nitter.cf/bally_kehal/status/204…

模型参数越来越多,解决问题能力越来越分化。这不是革命,是分化。

The real question is not “can AI do this?” The real question is: who has this problem badly enough to pay?

abe Gadde, 1 agent is so costly, companies cann't affoard. Sometime these IT CEOs who are involved in circular economy. They can to project fake AI future where insane cost does not make sense.
20
We are going to see billion dollar companies ran by 1 person
The weirdest job transition might already be happening: Employee → Manager Except the people you’re managing are AI agents. Knowing how to delegate, review and correct AI might become as normal as knowing Excel.

100s of agents per engineer mostly means 100s of diffs landing on you to review, and review is already the slow part. spinning them up was never the bottleneck.
70
100s of agents sounds good until one loop fans out and you get the invoice. spend surface is what nobody puts in the roadmap
96
the jump from using ai tools to actually managing a fleet of agents is massive and most people aren't treating it that way yet

Personally - I am designing a local fortress while the rest of the internet is building sandcastles on rented land….
