Tanashahi nahi chalegi?
The real meaning behind India’s favorite word for ‘dictator’ will surprise you.
Had a really poor experience at the #Dharmasthala Manjunatha Swamy temple during darshan. Right at the moment we stepped in front of the deity, the priests let a group of people in from the opposite side and pushed us aside. This new group occupied the spots in front of us, causing a lot of pushing and shoving in the crowd. We couldn't get a proper darshan at all because of this.
When I questioned the priests, their answer was that those people had paid for some seva. Many temples have separate lines for VIPs or devotees performing sevas. Allowing people to enter from the opposite side directly in front of the deity is completely unacceptable. @SKDMTemple

In communication, deliberate misspelling is a strategy to gain attention.
It’s called Typo Marketing.
Thank you for amplifying @RahulGandhi ji’s tweet on Tata by desperately pointing out Sitaraman misspelt.
Hahhahaha!

A project perhaps designed to repel future generations from The Ramayana and the story of Shri Ram. Two toads who refused to refuse a project out of arrogance and sense of entitlement, because their lack of education convinced them that they were made for these two roles.

Surely every production house/producer has commercial interest in movies, even when 'made with heart'. In the past, movies based on Ramayana and other 'devotion' themed movies were popular - especially in the South. Some might have been made to cash in on a trend. Maybe not all of of the crew were a devout lot. But chances are the key 'investors' were driven primarily by reverence for the epic and the story they were telling. They tried to tell the story truthfully with the limitations of post-production and graphics at that point in time. Somehow I feel 'let's dazzle the world with mega production' is primary in this case rather than 'I relate to this epic so much with devotion that I want to tell its story'. I could be wrong.
And if I may add BJP in Telangana has been completely hopeless. Nobody even bothered to call and check. No local leader or councillor. 😂
Congress and MIM otoh had many special desks and volunteers to coordinate with people.
Shows you how serious BJP is in Telangana.
Lol my name has been deleted 😭😭
No notice was served, No BLO visited my home. This process at least in Telangana was a real sham.
In the state of Telangana, the procedure and the guidelines of SIR was duly followed and enumeration forms (EFs)were distributed to all electors and filled in EFs were taken back and draft rolls were prepared after excluding the names from whom EFs were not received. The non-returned EFs consisted of persons who have died, permanently shifted, absent, duplicates. Out of total 3,38,26,448 Electors, in state of Telangana, 2,64,87,213 Electors have been included in the draft Roll.
73,39,235 Electors have been moved to ASDD Category, out of which, 57,46,803 Electors are Absent/Shifted, 9,22,229 Electors are in Dead category and 6,70,203 Electors are Duplicate Votes. The same were moved to ASDD Category. This was done only after House-to-House visit and due enquiry by BLOs and not done unilaterally. Also opportunity has been given to left out Electors during the period of Claims and Objections for filing their claims if any. Another opportunity by way of Special Camps on 15th and 16th, October, 2026 was taken up and ensured that *Every Eligible Elector is added and no ineligible elector remain in the Electoral Roll*. The whole process and procedures were duly followed.

Oh please! Keep this future of indian cinema bs to yourself. Industry has survived huge failures even before.
Who asked them to invest 2000cr when you can’t guarantee a premium product? How much remuneration are these ‘stars’ getting? Are producers doing charity by making these films? Don’t they have an expectation of profits?
Why should the burden be on the audience to save a poor film? If the film fails, it will make way for leaner, story driven projects which focus on quality content, not the ones which run on PR machinery.
Many people believe that if #Ramayana fails to achieve its expected box office numbers, #NamitMalhotra will suffer massive losses. But the bigger picture is much more significant than that.
Namit Malhotra may be able to recover his investment through multiple revenue streams, but if Ramayana fails to meet expectations, the consequences will not be limited to one producer. It could also affect the future of Indian cinema.
Just think about it: if an Indian film with a massive investment of ₹1,500–2,000 crore fails to deliver the expected returns, which producer would be willing to take such a huge financial risk again? It wouldn't matter whether the film was based on our mythology, history, or an entirely original story.
Namit Malhotra could eventually shift his focus towards Hollywood, where he has already established himself in the VFX industry. He might even go on to produce Hollywood films in the future. Indian producers may eventually trust only a handful of filmmakers, such as SS Rajamouli, to make big-budget films with budgets of ₹1,500–2,000 crore. However, I believe that Rajamouli himself could move towards Hollywood after Varanasi and one or two more projects.
The irony is that people who want Ramayana to fail may not realise that they could also be hurting the future of Indian cinema.
This is about more than one film, one filmmaker, or a fan war. It is about whether Indian cinema can earn the confidence of investors to create ambitious, world-class films on a global scale.
Fascinating news from Hampi.
ASI has unearthed a rare paired Vishnu and Shiva temple complex in the dvikuta (twin sanctum) style near the Lotus Mahal.
A major temple discovery after years.

This Dussehra, I will explain 1. Why did Hanuman choose to help and be devoted to Rama even though he was the minister of Sugriv?
In the Valmiki Ramayana, most people assume that just because Rama is an avatar of Vishnu that is why Hanuman is his devotee. But this is not so.
In a conversation of Hanuman and Mainak, Mainak says even wishes to help Rama. Mainak is the son of Himalayas and the brother of Parvati.
रामस्य च मया साह्ये वर्तितव्यम् अरिम् दम || ५-५८-१६
रामो धर्मभृताम् श्रेष्ठो महाइन्द्र सम विक्रमः |
'O subduer of enemies! I must make efforts to help Rama the foremost among the righteous, for I have received help (from your father) who is equal to Indra in valour'.
Mainak wishes to help Hanuman because he is indebted to his father, and both want to help the foremost among the righteous, Rama (रामो धर्मभृताम्).
Sita rebukes Ravana by telling him, Rama will not even take him as his servant after he repeatedly pesters her to be his wife. This is what she says..
न त्वम् रामस्य सदृशो दास्ये अपि अस्या न युज्यसे || ५-५८-७२
यज्ञीयः सत्य वाक् चैव रण श्लाघी च राघवः |
" 'You have no similarity with Rama. You are unfit even to do service to Rama. Rama performs sacrifices (yajna). He speaks only truth. He is a lover of battle'."
While these are only two shlokas, these are just a few of the reasons why Hanuman was devoted to Ram and so did the others wish to help him. It was not because of him being an avatar only.
When Hanuman put fire to Lanka, there was only one house he spared, that of Vibhishana, the only brother who advised Ravana not to do wrong things and follow the path of dharma. Hanuman specifically chose the houses of the rich and powerful and burnt them.

गृहेष्वृद्धिमतामृद्धिम् ददाह स महाकपिः || ५-५४-१७
That Hanuma of great fame burnt away wealth in the mansions of the rich.
Remember your wealth, fame and power will not save you if you align with Adharma. Hanuman will burn it himself.
Happy Dussehra.

Anyone who thinks that social media or reels or films will give them real friends…. Are not listening to hanuman chalisa carefully.. nor do they know the Ramayana.. or the real bajrang baan.
Everyone is a Hanuman fan but they dont know why he chose to be devoted to Ram while being a cheif minister/advisor to his own king Sugriv…
Unless they know this.. they will forever be deluded…

Had darshan at Srimath Kadiri Lakshmi Narasimha Swami Vari Temple on Dussehra!
Built in 1352 under Harihara I, it is one of the earliest dated Vijayanagara temples in Andhra Pradesh.
The town is said to take its name from the khadira tree under which the deity was found. Inside, Narasimha swami is shown with eight arms, tearing open Hiranyakashipu, with Prahlada standing beside him.

One consequence of the entire Sharjeel Imam love fest is a host of lawyers arguing that the Constitution is not some infallible document and radical changes in it can and should be discussed and even approved.
Good.
For it opens the doors to discussing other changes as well - the ones that would really make it equal and secular (unlike Imam who wants to change to make India an Islamic state).
Like dismantling the entire regime of Article 25-30 which hobbles Hindu temples and schools and other institutions while letting minority institutions enjoy unfettered freedom.
Fair game?

🇮🇳🏳️🌈Here is what the usual narrative misses. When I finally met people across the Sangh Parivar, I found them open to new ideas and willing to listen.
India's debates on identity are far less binary than they look from the outside.
#WATCH | Mumbai: Ankit Bhuptani, featured as a contributor in the book 'Hundred Years Young: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh ', says, "The LGBT movement around the world, including in India, has been quite confrontational towards the non-left spaces. So when I got an invitation, I was first surprised, but I also found that it's a great opportunity for the LGBT movement to engage with the community, which has generally not been part of the dialogue... Since my childhood, I have never been to any of the shakhas... On top of it, my own LGBT community did not portray any kind of positive or welcoming narrative of the Sangh Parivar. It was quite different than what I was expecting. What I discovered once I met people within the Sangh Parivar and larger ecosystem is that they are quite open to hearing new ideas and to dialogue..."
