If any fool attempts to tell you it isn’t a genocide, show them this quote and who said it.

Yuval's personal politics are beside the point. You can disagree with someone and still find their work valuable.

"We shouldn't listen to Israelis, we should only listen to Palestinians"
This is right-wing ethnonationalism seeping into liberation movements. There are Palestinians not worth listening to (Yoseph Haddad, Mosab Hassan Yousef), there are Israelis worth listening to (Avi Shlaim, Ilan Pappe). Your cultural and national background is important because informs your lived experience; But we cannot define the value of a statement on the basis of the identity of the speaker.
Please read Franz Fanon (quoted) and stop thinking in ethnonational terms.

The Ukrainian military is losing 27,000 soldiers killed and wounded per month - Donald Tusk, Polish PM
Tusk, one of Ukraine’s strongest supporters in Europe, revealed the casualty rate during a speech to the Polish parliament on Thursday.
We already knew this, as Ukraine had indirectly announced that it needed 30,000 recruits a month just to stand still.
So we have another proof of it. The kill rate is rumoured to be 36:1 in favour of Russia.

Discourse on China has turned into fan fiction.
It is either:
“China will collapse tomorrow,” or “China could boss Moscow around tomorrow.”
When Zelenskyy laments that “it is a pity China does not stand with us politically,” what he really means is:
“You have immense influence. Why don’t you use more of it for us?”
But that overestimates China’s leverage over Russia while underestimating China’s self-restraint in the exercise of power.
China supports Ukraine’s territorial integrity as a matter of principle, while simultaneously backing Russia’s opposition to NATO expansion as a matter of security doctrine.
That is why Kyiv finds Beijing insufficiently supportive, while Moscow finds Beijing insufficiently aligned.
China is not fighting this war for either side.
It is managing the war’s consequences for itself.
China has no interest in becoming a second empire.

The root of all this lies the illegal attack by the United States on Iran which then caused a domino effect, closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
And what is the European Union doing?
Where is it? No diplomatic initiatives.
At least try to be credible.
Condemn the United States.
