Ran molmoact2 zero shot on SO101! And it is my first policy on the robot.
I added support on Lerobot to spin up molmoact2 on a VM since I did not have the capability to run the model on my client machine.

really liked ramith aiyaās idea to do this, so wanted to try something fancy as well.
i was reading about world models and decided to make a slide deck for @NVIDIARobotics DreamZero ā paper āWorld Action Model are Zero-shot Policiesā

did a group presentation today with @3blue1brown's manim style transitions. Sharing the template for anyone to build upon
Brought to life with @NarekMaloyan's manim-web + reveal.js + claude + codex

I wrote a blog post detailing the writing approach I took while working on my recent paper: sophielwang.com/blog/paper-wā¦
I describe the behind the scenes for how this paper came to be, why and how I storyboarded figures before running experiments, and some figure design tips! :)
Can āchickenā make a base model reason? š
Yes!
Why? With the right first tokens, base models can match RL in reasoning. We trace this to learned training data associations and use a simple data edit to make āchickenā elicit reasoning too.

Next up: estimation and SLAM. I'll build up from the basics (Bayes filter, particle filter) to VGGT.

A huge Badger congratulations to @UWMadison physics professor Francis Halzen, who won a #NobelPrize for his work as principal investigator of the Ice Cube Neutrino Observatory. Learn more about the worldās largest telescope here.

Long-Horizon Adaptive Manipulation Planning (LAMP) helps robots plan not only where an object needs to go, but also how they can work together to get it thereš¤š¤
MSR student and project co-lead Shuai Zhou presented this research at #IROS2026 yesterday!

i gave astra a robot, a paint brush, and a camera then asked it to paint the golden gate bridge in real life!
it figured out how to control the robot, and progressively got better throughout its attempts. the timelapse is sick
meanwhile: me thinking of doing a phd
Weāre sharing a solution to the Navier-Stokes Millennium Prize Problem, one of the deepest problems at the frontier of mathematics.
The proof was produced by a group of agents, using an OpenAI next-generation model significantly more capable than GPT-6 Astra.
The problem concerns whether the description of smooth three-dimensional fluid motion modeled by the Navier-Stokes equations can break down. It has remained unresolved for roughly 90 years.
tried @NVIDIARobotics issac sim with the SO-101, finally got a machine to run the issac sim.
love this!!!!!!!!
Train in sim. Run it for real. Teach it new tricks. š¦
