I can see how much that hurt him, I can also see that this male would rather avoid conflict than be a man. Tell her to stop, tell her that you don't appreciate being mocked, then walk away. Don't apologize later just to smooth things over, don't play into her joke, don't go along to get along. If she doesn't apologize then you need to have a conversation about how she was mocking you for the approval of rando women online and that is not ok. She will deflect, she will over react and it will turn into a circular argument hold to the simple fact that you were being mocked and that's not ok, don't get angry, don't get sidetracked just hold to that one point.
