The #indigenous #women with whom we partner are committed to achieving #territorialjustice and reclaiming their ancestral lands. In their Chagra de la Vida or Garden of Life, our partner ASOMI (the Association of Indigenous Women of Traditional Medicine) cares for 127 acres of #rainforest in #Colombia. This area was originally purchased and returned to ASOMI by us in 2004 and 2020. 🌿🌻
🌱When you support us, you support ASOMI. With your help, we can protect approximately 115 football fields of rainforest that is a haven for medicinal #plants, #monkeys, and #birds (over 35 species!). Additionally, near the headwaters of the Putumayo #River, the Garden of Life also conserves clean #water sources, including a #freshwater spring and two streams. 🌊
