I’ll never tell someone how they should vote, you need to do your own research & figure out who you think would represent you the best when you do please think about what the CTU stands for before voting for one of their candidates.

Fantastic and hope inspiring remarks by @SenatorDurbin at the Policing Leadership Academy Graduation. His heartfelt concern for the great City of Chicago centered around support for mental health and trauma treatment AND crime prevention and gun reform. When you are truly a leader, you can articulate how we CAN have both and inspire others to want to do the work. Thank you, @shapack 🙏🏼

For all those imbeciles wanting to remove ShotSpotter from our communities, consider this: police were alerted to the fallen officer FIVE MINUTES before anyone called 911. That extra time is invaluable and you blissfully choose to ignore that fact. – at Chicago, IL

So thankful for @EileenCookCnty and her tenacity in the Cook County State’s Attorney’s race
She ran an incredibly honorable campaign and has been so gracious to all of her voters, supporters and constituents
Regardless whether you voted for Eileen or not, know that she will treat ALL Cook County residents with equal care and not play favorites
Chicago is SO lucky to have her as our next CCSA ❤️🙏
Thank you for your leadership @50thWardChicago Alderman Debra Silverstein.
I convened a meeting this week with the Chicago Police and elected officials to discuss the horrible rash of antisemitic flyering that has been happening across Chicago and in the northern suburbs. Hundreds of cars and doorsteps have been littered with gross and hateful flyers in a direct attempt at intimidation. With nearly a dozen incidents occurring across at least six wards, it is time for a coordinated city response to this wave of hate.
I am proud to have spearheaded this first sit-down between police, aldermen, and the head of the Chicago Commission on Human Relations. Those present at the meeting today included police leadership from the Superintendent’s Office and Civil Rights Unit, as well as CCHR Commissioner Nancy Andrade, Mayor Daniel Biss of Evanston, and multiple City Council Aldermen.
Hate is sharply on the rise in Chicago and across our nation. Incidents like this hate flyering, when not addressed, can quickly escalate into an environment that is dangerous to our most vulnerable communities. I intend to hold more meetings until those responsible for these hate incidents are brought to justice.

@ChicagosMayor is spending $102 MILLION on catering food for migrants which they don’t want to eat.
If you think @BringChiHome funds will be used differently, you are deceiving yourself.
