Huge shoutout to the incredible team behind Prompt to Animation and Motion Rebuilder! Shipping these tools to Studio Beta took a ton of hard work—thrilled to finally get them into creators' hands. 🙌 #RobloxDev
We're making it easier to bring avatars to life with our latest Studio Beta tools. Prompt to Animation turns a description into an R15 animation, and Motion Rebuilder converts R6 clips to R15. #RobloxDev devforum.roblox.com/t/studio…

Hey @CVPR , the author guidelines include an LLM usage statement. Is that in addition to the one in open review ?

My timeline is exploding over MIT CSAIL’s "Weight-Space Programming" post, with claims that LLMs will soon replace gradient descent and AdamW. I dug through the code and post: the work is super cool and reproducible, but we need to temper the hype. 🧵👇 (1/6)

The negative controls tell the real story (kudos to the authors for sharing them): - Boosting Gemma 3 270M math failed (6.8% -> 7.7%) because it lacked math skills, not a loop bug. - Spotting sycophancy from raw weights failed (0/4) due to superposition in deep layers. (5/6)

Unmasking capability that SGD already learned != learning representations from scratch. AdamW isn't going anywhere. What this actually shows is a big leap in automated mech-interp: LLMs autonomously probing activations to do surgical model repair. (6/6) rikiyat.github.io/blog/weigh…

We asked GPT-6 Astra to edit Qwen3.5-0.8B weights to improve math. It directly changed only 0.016% of weights, fixing 0.8B's reasoning loops & improving math up to 6x and even instruction following 3x, without gradients or training. We call this Weight-Space Programming: frontier LLMs can now natively read/write neural network weights! 🧵 Blog: rikiyat.github.io/blog/weigh…
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
LLM was given weights explicitly as text in prompt and used code/forward passes (per authors' logs) to ablate Qwen looping direction, a known thinking-mode issue per model card. Primarily fixed repetition in that mode, not general 'natively' improving weights/math. rikiyat.github.io/blog/weight-sp… github.com/RikiyaT/lm_und… huggingface.co/Qwen/Qwen3.5-0… huggingface.co/RikiyaT/Qwen3.…

The real AI psychosis is thinking "this is just another tool" or "it's just a stochastic parrot" and "humans still need to review every line". You gotta snap out of it.

Gemini Argon 4 in Cursor just finished a reply with a Russian word for no apparent reason "испортить". It means to spoil... I wonder what it spoiled for me...

I have been using Argon recently and I love it. Can't wait to try Carbon.
I did say we'd be releasing our models periodically...introducing Gemini 4 Carbon, our next frontier model. Following Argon's release just two weeks ago, Carbon shows the pace at which we’re pushing the frontier, it ranks #1 on the recently updated v5.0 of @ArtificialAnlys Intelligence Index at 59. It also leads across key cybersecurity evaluations scoring 88.2% on SEC-bench Pro for finding vulnerabilities, 54.8% on ExploitGym for exploitation, and 71.0% on CWE-bench for patching. We’re seeing significant improvements in long-horizon tasks even compared to Argon, and we’ve strengthened frontier safeguards. As we did with Argon, we’re going to roll it out gradually + responsibly. Some trusted cyber defenders will get access starting this week. We'll be expanding it to more partners through our Fairwind Program, ahead of wider availability soon, so hang tight!

The circle of life 🧵 Yesterday my son Shaked became a bar mitzvah. One of the happiest days of our lives. Little did we know what was coming right after. 1/

11/ Grandma Rivka. The “cool” grandma. Always dropping by on her way to the pool, with her watered-down Sprite bottle, her artichokes, The Bold and the Beautiful. Not the classic Moroccan grandma. Uniquely herself.

12/ Since Grandpa died, the smell of mint tea floods me with memories. Now, every small bottle of Sprite will make me wonder if someone filled half of it with water. Joy and grief, side by side. We’ll miss you. 🕯️
