I’m seeking help regarding a vulnerable orphaned child with a learning disability who appears to be exploited by a man featured in a video. Despite efforts from some foundations to support the child, the man seems to prioritize social media visibility, especially on Facebook, and may be preventing proper care. Could someone please look into this situation and advise on how best to help the child?

They arrested one of us but we are already forgetting him in jail? This boy issues suppose to be a talk in town everyday till DSS will release him, he didn't kill anyone, he only tried to hold government and INEC account but they arrested and jail him. #FreeRilwanOlawaleNow
JUST IN:
Lawyer Demands Immediate Release of Rilwan Olawale, Allegedly Arrested and Tortured Over WhatsApp Messages to Lagos INEC REC
Nigerian lawyer Festus Ogun has demanded the immediate release of Rilwan Olawale, who he alleges was arrested and tortured by operatives of the State Security Service (SSS), also known as the DSS, following WhatsApp messages sent to Lagos State INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner, Professor Ayobami Salami.
Ogun claims Olawale has been detained since October 25, 2026, for allegedly sending critical messages to the electoral official, insisting that demanding free and fair elections is not a crime.
He has called for Olawale’s immediate release, an apology and substantial compensation, warning that legal action could follow over the alleged violation of his fundamental rights.
I am still wondering how they intend to win in 2027. My friend, who sells gadgets in Ikeja Computer Village, has been crashing out at people talking about Tinubu 2027. I had to ask him what the problem was. The man has been cursing everyone all day.
One emergency in Nigeria, and you're 70% dead, with only a 30% chance of survival. Nigerian politicians don't use your general and teaching hospitals; you are the ones left to die in those death traps. Raise your voice and demand better healthcare. 2027 is another chance to choose your leaders at all levels.
“This Video Is Directed At Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah. My Friend Just Lost Her Baby Due To a Lack Of Oxygen. In Enugu State, If You Have a Medical Emergency In The Middle Of The Night And Need Urgent Assistance, You’re Doomed Because Hospitals Won’t Open Their Gates. This Cost My Friend Her Child. The Hospital Where She Was Receiving Treatment Had No Oxygen, And When They Tried To Find Oxygen Elsewhere, Other Hospitals Refused To Open Their Gates. Imagine Watching Your Child Suffer, Die Slowly And Being Completely Helpless.” ~ Lady Cries Out, Calling The Governor’s Attention To Emergency Healthcare In Enugu State. 😢

Please, it seems we are about to forget that Rilwan Olawale, the OK ticket flag boy who was arrested in Lagos, is still reportedly in DSS custody!
We need to apply more pressure to at least hear from the relevant authorities and confirm that he is still alive, because their silence is becoming suspicious!
Lend your voice today! Let’s keep Rilwan Olawale in the public eye! ✊
Lol, 19,000 MW? You and the government need to go back to school and relearn basic mathematics. Neither Tinubu nor the next government that comes into power in Nigeria will be able to achieve even 10,000 MW, let alone 19,000 MW.

Nigerians can be so misguided. Look at Toluwasing's case. Instead of focusing on why someone experiencing a medical emergency was turned away by eight hospitals before being declared dead, we are busy trending his burial arrangements and wife. We have found a way to distract ourselves and leave the government untouched. Now this woman is crying out simply because it is her turn. We pretend healthcare doesn't concern us until it affects us personally. My mum was urinating frequently, and we visited three hospitals in Ekiti that couldn't identify the problem. We had to go to Lagos, where tests alone have cost over ₦500k, and we are yet to undergo the surgery needed at a private hospital. All this in a country with so much poverty.
When will @NGRSenate and @NGRPresident enforce laws against child abuse, child labour, assault and molestation? Nigerian children are not safe, even in their own country. Parents and guardians who abuse children, as well as those who knowingly hand children over to abusers, must be investigated and prosecuted. The law must be enforced, and offenders must face the consequences to serve as a deterrent to others.
That's why Nigeria must, as a matter of urgency, develop a nationwide cargo rail network, even before expanding passenger rail services. Efficient cargo trains would reduce transportation costs, ease pressure on our roads, and make it cheaper to move goods across the country.

Nigeria needs healthy competition in business, not associations of businessmen who collude to exploit consumers. What we often see is business owners agreeing on prices instead of competing to offer Nigerians better deals. You can see how he has been crashing out since VDM brought in his container. This is exactly how competition benefits consumers: it gives people more options, better prices and value for their money.

These are the kind of elders and potential government officials we may have if Atiku wins. You can see how flawed their character is; it is there for everyone to see, yet people expect them to do the right thing. A person without character cannot be expected to deliver better public service.
EFCC no dey go people house without due diligence, abeg. We need to remove emotions and allow law enforcement to do its job. Her brother must have done something to warrant an investigation or arrest. My cousin was arrested four weeks ago in Ondo. His mum came to me crying, and I told her she knew what her son was doing, so why was she surprised that EFCC arrested him? The only part I had a problem with was when his parents were asked to pay ₦4 million for his release.
Lady Cries Out After EFCC Officers Used a Ladder To Climb Into Her Brother’s Apartment From The Back, Ransacked The House And Damaged Property, With His TV And Other Belongings Now Missing, Including Their Father’s Phone. She Also Claims They Took Away Their Cousin, Who Was Sleeping In The House At The Time. She Questions Why People’s Property Would Be Damaged Or Taken In The Name Of An Investigation, Insisting That Such Actions Are Unacceptable, And Calls For Justice.
These are some of the things we talked about. No one should be able to steal money and simply disappear. Nigeria must do more with security technology and policing. For people raising funds for medical treatment, it is probably best to pay the money directly to the hospital where the treatment is meant to take place.
If I were in government or the president, and people said they had seen no evidence of the huge sums claimed to have been shared with vulnerable Nigerians, I would provide proof. This continuous deafness shows that we either have a government that refuses to listen or one that cannot prove the money reached the intended beneficiaries.
When you have a medical emergency in Nigeria, your chances of survival can be frighteningly low. Nigerians need to come together and put pressure on governments at all levels to fix our healthcare system. Access to emergency care should not depend on how much money you have or who you know. We cannot continue to watch people die from conditions that could have been treated with timely, proper medical care.
“Do we even value human lives in this country? We are on the verge of losing my brother, but nothing seems to be working in our healthcare system. Even though we are a little bit privileged, we have reached a point where we are running out of funds. Now, imagine those who cannot afford even the basics.”
— Young Nigerian content creator Anti Abiba expresses frustration over Nigeria’s healthcare system as she struggles to get medical care for her brother.
She also questioned why accessing emergency medical attention in Nigeria feels like a privilege rather than a basic right.

This is not a simple database issue or an isolated technical error. The concern is that election manipulation may have been deliberately designed, systematically implemented, and institutionalized through established procedures. – at Manchester, NH
