Just 6 months ago, Display didn't yet exist. It was just an idea in our heads. So we built the small product and it's now used by more than 4000 people around the world. That's the @slashdisplay you know. Today, we're launching Display 1.0, the next phase and it's live on Product Hunt. We're introducing so many new things today, it's basically a whole new product. So our pitch is this: create docs and apps with any agent, in one workspace. Think of this as the GitHub for all your company's knowledge work, or an agent-native replacement for Notion. What's new in Display 1.0 > Spaces and Folders – give each team its own Space, and each client its own shared folder and decide who can see what. Organise work into Folders inside Spaces. >Storage – store and access any file type in your workspace. HTML, Markdown, PDF, images, videos – whatever you and your agents create and need storage for. > Storage – store and access any file type in your workspace. HTML, Markdown, PDF, images, videos – whatever you and your agents create and need storage for. > New Access Controls – introducing a more familiar Google Workspace-styled permissions matrix with editor, contributor, commenter and viewer roles. > User Groups – put people into groups and share any Space, folder or doc with the whole group at once. > External contributors – updated access controls also let you give commenting and editing access for docs to external guests. Combined with Spaces and Folders, you can now create dedicated client spaces where you work together on any agent or human created doc with your partners. > Internal Knowledge Base – the new document storage, spaces, and updated search let you create an internal knowledge base of all your company's know-how, providing context for everything your agents do next. We have internal apps and data connectors working in private beta, available shortly to everyone. So my ask is this - please head over to Product Hunt and give us an upvote!

“Thank god we didn’t leave anything to the last minute” says Ott with a sarcastic undertone as we arrive to the airport hotel at 1am (3am in 🇪🇪). Then Carl proceeds to shipping display.dev new features the rest of the night. Are we a little bit nuts for deciding to launch a workspace and execute a street stunt just three weeks after the idea was born? Yeah probably. Anyway, this is me, exhausted yet excited for tomorrow as it’s finally the day to set up “Stop the seat” that we’ve been working on together with Kaja Aulik (who’s bringing the big board inside a bike box btw). Today is product launch day. We’ve shipped some unbelievably cool updates the past weeks. Please, do take a minute to support us on Product Hunt today. I’ll leave the story explaing the launch, London Luma event for tomorrow, as well as the upvote link below. This is what Display has been like behind the scenes in October.

the product-film skill lets anyone create great-looking product videos with real UI a couple of days ago I shared our visualize skill for creating beautiful-looking docs without the usual AI slop on reddit multiple people reached out and asked how I'd made the product video that introduced it. truth be told, it's an internal skill we've iterated on over the last month - we built our web hero video and multiple feature launch films with it. when people on reddit asked, I made it public – you can now add the product-film skill here: github.com/display-dev/produ…

Introducing the Claude connector for Display. Since day 1, we've been asked about native connectors for using Display. Now it's here. The Claude connector has every Display tool available to it – publish, comment, edit and more. Get it here: claude.ai/directory/display

Great to see Kogan.com, one of the largest e-retailers in Australia, using our product across their company with many different agents. When you use many different AI providers in your organization, display.dev is the perfect fit for you.
So a few weeks ago I interviewed our customer Rory from @Kogan, Australia's largest e-commerce business. They have 150 people using @slashdisplay across Kogan and @MightyApe. What started out as some super users wanting a place to publish the "things" agents create (their word, not mine!), has turned into a workspace used by the majority of the company. For us, Rory and the Kogan team have been incredibly helpful with feature suggestions and product improvements – we've been able to ship multiple important product updates with their input. For my money, the most interesting factoid was that they're running 6 different agents across the organisation (and testing even more). People choose whatever tools they like and use them. This approach comes directly from the founder who wants Kogan to learn AI as fast as possible.

We launched the docs collaboration workspace for GPT-6 Sol. Meet Display. It's the place where people and agents work together. GPT-6 Sol is the perfect example of how strong models enable people to get more done. Agents create so much useful knowledge work. Display gives that work a place for sharing, collaboration and iteration. It's the Notion for the AI era.

Replying to @slashdisplay
@slashdisplay visualize skill helped me become a product designer. Just kidding but I'm proud of the progress indeed. I also showed the next steps, so how to actually go from prototyping to getting it live. Cheers to my partners in crime Karola and @claudeai

Display.dev going to eat Notion's lunch. That's what I was trying to squeak out to the audience here, after losing my voice two nights ago. In the last week, I've had 3 separate conversations with our users who've told me why they're choosing us and leaving Notion. Here's why: a) Notion doesn't support the right document types – agents produce great-looking HTML docs, which you can't host there. b) Notion turns into a desert as people stop using, even if you invest a ton of time and money into building a proper structure and guidelines. Everyone still tries to use it in their own way, and it breaks down. c) Notion becomes expensive fast – if you have a 100 employees, it costs a lot. Per seat pricing is a thing of the past. And so they choose Display as the home for their knowledge work.

I just built a page for product designers in 24 hours. The first page I’ve ever built. But how??? 1. Your Claude or favourite equivalent. By the way, I just use the app to explain what I need in simple words (so no scary terminal and all that stuff). 2. The @slashdisplay visualize skill that’s also publicly available now. Connects to the AI you use. 3. Karola Karlson’s expert opinion and feedback. The first version was horrible of course. But thanks to straightforward feedback and 25 rebuilds by Claude in @slashdisplay, this is the final look for now. I was sooo hyped when it started to take shape. You’re the decision-making boss and AI actually does the job. Isn’t it soo cool?:D Result at display.dev/product-designer…

Your AI agents create interactive docs such as clickable prototypes, presentations and reports in HTML. display.dev is where your team collaborates on them – agents publish while people add comments and iterate on new versions of the same doc
Introducing - the docs collaboration workspace for agents and humans.

This is the exact way builder and designers use display.dev to take feature ideas to prototypes to shipped features. Start building and prototyping today.
We solved cross-agent collaboration in prototyping. Designers and builder prototyping is one of the most popular use cases for display.dev. Exploring and collaborating different design options for features -- with different agents -- is also how @carlrannaberg and I work together every single day. So I created a run-through of how I went from an idea to a prototype to a shipped feature, using my agent while iterating with comments. The set-up is simple: > My agent has access to my repository, so it knows my product context > I use the prototype skill - a set of instructions that add various testing options to the prototypes the agents create - to explore different designs for the feature. > We iterate on the prototype version I liked with comments, updating the design until we were ready > I ask the agent to create a final spec and develop the feature, using our building and deployment workflow The agents do the development, display.dev is the place where review and collaboration happens. How do you run design exploration for your product?
