New Gallup poll asks "which values the country most needs today?" Out of a list of 12 values, Republicans put "patriotism" #1, for Dems it ranks dead last - by a lot. Dems say "equality" is most needed, Republicans rank it 11th out of 12.

Equality Utah is getting some pushback from local Democratic officials after it decided to endorse Republican candidates in a few races over openly LGBTQ candidates. The endorsement that is getting the most attention is Equality Utah's decision to endorse Republican Mike Bird for the Salt Lake County Council District 3 seat over Luke Maynes, who is a Democrat and a member of the LGBTQ community.
