I would say that’s really true about many of my peers… whether that’s Prince or Michael Jackson or Jean-Michel Basquiat. These are people who were channeling, but I don’t think they understood that there has to be some kind of restriction. People like to take drugs because they’re actually channeling light… but it’s light with no restriction. And then that’s what kills you or burns you out.”

i genuinely hate when people reduce MJ to a weak individual. that man was highly intelligent and handled the cards he was dealt with the best that he could. also he didn’t use drugs recreationally but rather for pain management. so no madonna you DON’T know your peers 🙄
