— #AgainstTheCurrent (#兰香如故) | #tansongyun #liuxueyi This drama really showed amazing character development. Not one supporting character went to waste, and even the so-called “villains” aren’t simply black or white (with some exceptions of course). The ML isn’t a red flag, but he’s not a complete green flag either. There’s growth in every episode. Everyone is flawed in their own way, and I love that the drama actually gives them room to make mistakes, face the consequences, learn, and become better. No one feels like they’re there just to move the plot along. They all have their own stories, motivations, and struggles that make you understand why they are the way they are. And maybe that’s what I love most about it. It doesn’t ask you to see people as simply good or bad. It reminds you that people are complicated, growth isn’t linear, and sometimes becoming better starts with recognizing the parts of yourself that still need changing. 💯
