More borrowing. More taxes. More welfare over work. More handouts for those who don’t contribute at the expense of British workers who do. Benefits Burnham just kicked the difficult stuff into the long grass hoping you’ll be gaslit by cheap bus fares. They think you’re stupid.

What sort of country gives loads of its people's money to other countries, then pleads poverty to its people and taxes them into oblivion?

The minimum wage will have increased by over 50% since 2020.
There is almost zero incentive now for young people to go to university and attempt to get a more specialised/corporate job in Britain.
The pay simply doesn’t justify it. They’re better off working for minimum wage.

Countless examples of the right-wing split, in very winnable council seats.
Both the right-wing public and parties seem willing to doom the country rather than hold their nose.
Translation; we gave the election to the greens.

This guy takes us for fools.
He fails to mention 46% of the price at pump is tax.
I know people are worried about fuel prices. And I get it. You get to the pump, watch the numbers climb, and wonder why it's costing so much more than it used to.
The reality is that global events are pushing up costs, and families here at home are feeling the impact.
But I won't accept that there's nothing I can do to help.
That's why from today, you'll be able to see petrol and diesel prices on Google Maps, compare nearby stations and find the cheapest option before you fill up.
It's a small change, but if there's a practical way to help people keep more money in their pocket, I'll do it.
With @KemiBadenoch it’s most likely a case of the right leader for the wrong times… #CPC26

Why endless waitlists for housing?
Why are class sizes growing?
Clue... it's not funding.

This was Burnham’s “promise” not to reopen Brexit on 18 May 2026.
Why? Because he had to win the Makerfield by-election, where two-thirds of his constituents voted to leave.
Utterly shameless and wrong.

Replacing triple lock with a system that ensures state pension rises with earnings over time, but never rises by less than inflation, makes a lot of sense. Good.
The idea this will pay for free social care any time soon, though, is for the birds. That will mean higher taxes.
The cock of the North is pissing into the face of his voters.
Makerfield was fooled.
