Democrats will now control the House and Senate and be able to hold Trump accountable. That's great.
At a time of massive income and wealth inequality, we must do more. We must aggressively fight for working families.
No more excuses.

This doesn't look fishy at all. VPD keeps job open for outgoing Chief of Staff of ex-Mayor Ken Sim, the cop mayor.
In other places you can't jump straight from govt to a corp or body you've just been regulating, but not here in the #vanpoli wild west

The so-called “radical leftist” Sean Orr just received more votes than any candidate in Vancouver's history.
Don't worry, folks. I've never met someone who genuinely cares more about people than Sean does.
I have no doubt he'll work tirelessly to make Vancouver a better place for EVERYONE.
That's not radical, that's leadership. ❤️

Outgoing Mayor’s Chief of Staff Lands Job at VPD
City Coun. Lucy Maloney, one of three incumbent councillors re-elected to council in last month’s municipal election, told The Tyee she was surprised by Ford’s hiring given the former ABC-dominated council’s close relationship with the police department.
“I think the optics of the VPD receiving a very large amount of funding from the city council while Trevor Ford had so much influence, and then Trevor Ford being given a job, I think that it’s troublesome.

Fuck you very much David Eby.
Your entire run was pandering to the right. Your snap election call was absolutely ridiculous.
You're responsible for this and I'm so angry.
What a waste.

I know it’s unusual for me to be this quiet during a provincial election.
I supported David Eby in the last election. But I’ve been deeply disappointed by his record as Premier and his performance throughout this campaign.
Frankly, he’s given British Columbians very few reasons to re-elect him.
I voted for him last time because there was no real alternative for Liberals, and I supported his government's pro-housing policies. The BC Conservatives, after all, were campaigning against Liberals as much as they were against New Democrats.
The BC Conservatives look considerably more credible than they did just a few months ago. But I remain deeply concerned about how far to the right many of their MLAs are. There are still people in that caucus who clearly admired Donald Trump and his way of doing politics.
One of my biggest concerns about a BC Conservative government is the possibility of a prolonged and entirely unnecessary confrontation with First Nations. That would be a terrible setback for reconciliation, economic development and the future of our province.
We need to be building partnerships, not picking fights. If the Conservatives win, I hope they send an early signal that they intend to approach these relationships seriously and constructively, rather than through an ideological lens.
Given the recent municipal election results, I also worry about a Conservative government picking a fight with the City of Vancouver, where I live. In particular, I worry about possible cuts to supportive housing that could leave even more people homeless. Vancouver has enough challenges without the provincial government making them worse.
The Greens have become too radical, OneBC are racists, and Centre BC hasn't punched through.
So I find myself dissatisfied with the choices before us.
More than anything, I hope British Columbia will one day have a credible, centrist, Liberal-branded alternative that believes in economic growth, social progress and bringing people together.
We certainly need one.

We already did the hiring of hundreds more cops and it did absolutely nothing. Ken campaigned on it and lost…
You should be able to enjoy a night out and get home without looking over your shoulder.
A Conservative government will:
🍺 Remove PST on Canadian alcohol to save BC pubs & nightlife
👮 Hire hundreds more police & prosecutors to crack down on street crime
🏥 Get people struggling with addiction & mental health issues into care
Safe streets and great nightlife go together. @ConservativeBC will deliver on both.

She turned off commenting because too many people were being critical of her racism. She also deleted her Thanksgiving tweet…
For years, I’ve championed compassionate solutions to severe mental illness, standing alongside families to support loved ones through schizophrenia and psychosis.
As a renter, I advocate for the kind of affordable housing abundance that lets people stay in the city they love.
And as the showrunner of a major conference, I worked to advance our economy to benefit all British Columbians.
There’s a still lot to do to make our province the best it can be. I’m ready to get to work for Vancouver-Yaletown.
This Sat. Oct. 24, vote @Conservative_BC
