“Silence at a moment like this isn’t neutrality. It’s a vote for the other side.”
Virginia pastor @stevegentry on why he signed an open letter opposing Amendments 1 & 2, which would legalize abortion up until birth and redefine marriage in the VA constitution

Virginians who love life and marriage need to vote NO on Amendments 1 & 2.
Virginia Pastors should lead their churches to vote against these measures, too.
I am thankful for @stevegentry's clear exhortation in this new @BaptistLeaders article.

I was glad to write this article explaining why I signed with other Virginia Pastors asking Virginians to vote "No" on the proposed amendments to our state constitution.
Next week, Virginians will vote on two new amendments to their state constitution.
The first to add abortion as a "fundamental right"
The second to redefine marriage
VA pastor @stevegentry calls on all Christians to reject these godless changes and stand for life and marriage.

Pastors don't have "the option of staying quiet when our state is being asked to write the killing of children and the redefinition of marriage into its founding document. Silence at a moment like this isn’t neutrality. It’s a vote for the other side." @stevegentry

Live peaceably so far as it depends on you - and it usually does.
This clip is from Week 22 of the 2 Samuel series.
A VERY imperfect church really trying to cultivate environments for discipleship is ALWAYS better than no church.
