every product i use should just be a headless mcp, that feeds into an agent, where i never have to think about anything underneath.
except for our product, of course.
in our product, customers love the ui and love us very much.
we're special that way.
I would be paying customer of @cursor_ai again, if they allow me to vibe from my Tesla .. I can’t sit and do nothing in my car!!
I assumed people would search if the box worked well enough. They don't. Most visitors scan a page for ten seconds, don't find their answer, and leave without ever typing a query. The search bar isn't the bottleneck. The habit of typing one is.
The giant naked statue in SF is officially gone. Honestly, I'm just sad she didn't get to experience the true SF rite of passage: having her rent raised until she was forced to move to Petaluma. 💸👋 #Embarcadero #sfart

we became so used to high latency outputs that we decided to open concurrent codex sessions. humans are incredible at adapting, and we conciously never realize it

1/4 Today, we’re releasing Mercury 3. Mercury 3 is by far our most powerful model and the most intelligent diffusion LLM ever released. It outperforms GPT-6 Luna and Haiku 5.5 on quality while running at 1000+ tok/sec.
🤖 Made with AI
A reader told me: "I use ChatGPT for almost all my searches now." True. Also true: most company websites still hand you a list of blue links when you search their own content. Two things that shouldn't both be true. People got faster. Sites didn't.

In last 3 months, SF has changed drastically.
- people have made generational wealth this year, courtesy AI. I am talking about folks in their 20s and early 30s.
- startups are shutting down at record rate. If you’re not crushing it, the opportunity cost is too high to stay at a stagnant startup (this has cons too, some trees take time to bear fruit).
- OpenAI and Anthropic have become the new Google. Everyone wants to work here.
- some angel investors have made 9 figures by investing 6 figures.
- People are holding on to their leases for the fear of not affording it later
- over-optimism is in the air. Over anxiety is in the air too. Peak FOMO atmosphere (great for work, not good for mental health).
- you can’t sit for 2 mins in any coffee shop without hearing the word AI.
- nothing, except AI, is getting funded. So many pedigreed founders building in non-AI domains are having a hard time raising.
- too many opportunities. Problem of plenty.
I dream of an India where the next @sundarpichai or @satyanadella doesn’t have to leave.
And the next Suhas can stay home, relax, and tweet inspirational nonsense like this. :D
Every time I see anti-Indian discourse, I remember Temple of Doom served chilled monkey brains as Indian food and think: Spielberg, you have some explaining to do.
Most in-product AI agents are a solution looking for a problem.
I don’t need a Salesforce agent, Datadog agent, Notion agent, Stripe agent and 20 more tiny coworkers waiting inside tabs.
I need my agent to use Salesforce, Datadog, Notion and Stripe.
Make your product agent-readable and agent-operable.
The native agent only gets interesting when it owns an outcome humans used to own.
Otherwise it’s mostly a sparkles button with a chat box.

As models improve, I suspect we won’t need code review
