🇨🇴 🚨 COLOMBIA: NATIONAL LEARNING SERVICE (SENA) ALLEGEDLY BREACHED, 20.5M CITIZEN RECORDS FOR SALE
A threat actor on a dark web forum claims to be selling a database of 20,564,434 unique records allegedly taken from SENA, Colombia's National Learning Service.
The actor claims the data includes:
• Full names and national ID numbers
• Dates of birth
• Addresses, phone numbers and emails
• Academic backgrounds and internship history
• Professional profiles and language skills
• Driver's license details
The data is said to come in JSONL and DB files, with a sample record shared to back the claim and payment requested in Bitcoin.
⚠️ Analyst Note:
If genuine, national IDs paired with contact details and career histories for more than 20 million people would fuel identity theft and convincing phishing that impersonates SENA or employers. SENA has not confirmed an incident. Unverified threat-actor claim, NOT confirmation of a breach.
