I grew up in West Michigan after 9/11. It is the worst it has ever been. Unless Dems absolute whiff on Palestine and Gaza again in 2028, I don't really see Arab American voters, but especially Muslim Arab American voters, entertaining the GOP for a long, long time.

Pretty rich for Haley Stevens to lecture Abdul El-Sayed about “hate” over an ad his campaign has explicitly disavowed while Mike Rogers is running one of the most racist and bigoted campaigns I’ve ever seen.
The hate in this race is being directed at Abdul, not coming from him.
I’m sobbing and I’m angry. Everybody should be so fucking angry. If you argue against M4A I hope you know you will inevitably become disabled or sick in the future– you better hope you can afford it when that time comes.

If I had a nickel for every time a Democratic House representative in Michigan refused to clearly endorse El-Sayed because they were literally in bed with a Republican, I'd have two nickels.
Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

Detroit News: Haley Stevens' fiancé Jason Turkish says he believes Abdul El-Sayed is anti-semitic which has convinced him to vote for Mike Rogers.
Turkish intends to attend a Mike Rogers event on Wednesday, Oct. 28, in Birmingham.
There, Rogers is set to take part in a forum sponsored by the Republican Jewish Coalition titled, "Who Will Keep Us Safe? Rogers vs. El-Sayed in the Wake of October 7th and the Temple Israel Attack."
