SEO is dead, and Reddit's CEO just confirmed it on their earnings call. He said AI search doesn't send traffic anymore, to Reddit or anyone else. If Reddit can't get clicks out of Google, a brand blog with 40 posts on "best gifts for dad" has no chance. 52% of orders on one of my brands start with a Google search. Brand name search is safe. But searching "best gift under $200" now gets an answer in the AI chat, and the AI read my article to write it. Nobody clicks through. So any SEO content line in a 2027 budget is gone. That money moves to the traffic you own - your email list, your SMS list, and creators who send people to search for your brand name. The product page gives all facts in plain text, so when the AI names 3 brands, one of them is yours. People are calling that AEO. Same job as SEO, written for an agent.
Reddit's earnings call has exposed the new reality for thousands of companies. "AI mode does not drive traffic. Not for us and not to anybody as far as I know. It used to be a traffic driver. Now it's not." - Reddit CEO. The reality is that AI is fundamentally changing the way that humans access the internet. Just 24 hours prior to this statement, Google's stock erased -$480 billion on the same issue: AI is disrupting the traditional search model. For decades, the internet operated on a simple model. Search engines directed users to websites, and those websites monetized the traffic. AI is destroying this business model, and it's happening at an accelerating pace. The traditional model of internet traffic is rapidly becoming outdated. The internet has entered a new era.

Stop! 🛑 I’m asking you to take the time and read this post below, it matters in today’s modern politics. Today is October 28th. OXI Day. 🇬🇷 On this day in 1940, as Europe folded one by one, the Axis war machine demanded Greece surrender its borders. Greece looked them in the eye and said one word: ΟΧΙ. (NO.) ✋ Wait, don’t leave, this is a long post, but I wrote it for you, conservative America. I’m going to take this moment to not only talk about heroism, but to make sure people understand who Greece is. In a time of conflict and questioning international allies, as one of the most popular Greek Americans on this app, I need you to understand who Greece is as an ally to you, the American. You’re my reader. I am you, I was born and raised in the USA, but you need to know who they are. For me, this isn’t just a history book. It’s literally my family’s villages in Epirus that the Axis walked through. They met steel and felt the wrath of the Greeks. My grandfather was taken hostage, his sister raped, my grandmother hid with the children and attacked from the darkness. Today, when clowns online actually ask "did the good guys win WWII?" Remember what Hitler said about the Greeks. Before the war, the Nazis thought modern Greek DNA was outcast and diluted after 400 years under the Ottomans, and that we weren’t special anymore. Hitler forgot the warrior gene still left in Greece. After Greece crushed Mussolini’s invasion and held out for 219 days (France fell in 43), Hitler wrote that the Greeks fought "like the heroes of ancient Hellas" and told the Reichstag on May 4, 1941: "For the sake of historical truth, I must verify that only the Greeks, of all the adversaries who confronted us, fought with bold courage and highest disregard for death." As Churchill said: "Hence, we will not say that Greeks fight like heroes, but that heroes fight like Greeks." In a way, Greece was one of the biggest winners of WWII. Under 400 years of Ottoman rule, Europe forgot us. Most people don’t know how barbaric the Greeks had to become to slaughter and remove the Muslims from our country to take our homeland back. That was the same DNA. Then we stood up in WWII, held back Nazi Germany stronger than any European country, and broadcast our heroism to the world. And for those still stuck on that stupid "Grexit" nonsense, wake up! Greece’s economy is booming and one of the strongest in Europe. Greece’s military is far stronger than people assume, spending over 3% of GDP on defense. Greece is America’s best and strongest ally. 🇬🇷 🇺🇸 One owns the great real estate on earth, one that doesn’t ask for favors and doesn’t infiltrate politics, but does its job because Greeks know who the king of the world is. There are only 1.2 million of us in America (under 0.4% of the country). Yet EVERYBODY knows a Greek, everybody has a great story about a Greek, and you will hardly ever find anybody talking bad about a Greek. The best people, the best hospitality, the best food, the best hearts. Contractors, restaurant owners, attorneys, builders. We are only 2-3 generations deep in America, you would never know it cause of hell we assimilate, and we’ve already established more with less than anybody. World War II was the moment everybody remembered who the hell the Greeks are, the people the UK and Europe forgot. And I want you to know and remember that, because we’re only just getting started. As one of the only nations taking a stance in Europe against barbarians, we were the last to expel them, now you bringing them back in. A nation with a cross on its flag. 🇬🇷🇺🇸☦️

Well done to Police Commissioner Mike Bush for reading the evidence and acting. Must be awkward in the office though, as assistant police commissioner and Chief of Police Media, Brett Curran was Dan Andrews Chief of Staff the day Dan Andrews Vic Govt SUV ran over a 15yo boy, while the lad was riding his sister’s bike. That fact that Andrews left the scene and waited almost 7 minutes to call 000, and hasn’t given his phone records over from the day, is a big part of this. Who did Dan Andrews call first? Why did the police closest to the accident, and almost at the scene, get called away? Why did the different police who did eventually turn up, NOT BREATHALYSE Dan Andrews and his wife? The boy was airlifted to hospital close to death. Why was Andrews allowed to drive his car, with a smashed front windscreen, away from the scene without any investigation. Why did Andrews change his story from his belated 000 call ‘we hit him’, to a media interview later ‘he T-boned us’? That means being hit in the side of the car. How could that lead to a front windscreen smashing? Why did the responding police who hadn’t followed protocol, turn up to the boys house. when he eventually got out of hospital, and was recuperating at home, not to ask for his version of events, but to WARN HIM TO BE QUIET, about the whole thing, or he will get charged? They said this to a 15yo boy who had nearly died when a big SUV, most likely, cut the corner of a country road and smashed into him.
Breaking news: Victoria Chief Commissioner refers the Bike Boy crimes to IBAC. The Herald Sun is reporting that Chief Commission Mike Bush has referred the evidence uncovered by the Bike Boy investigation to IBAC, Victoria’s anti corruption body. The 500 page evidence brief was presented to current Chief Commissioner Mike Bush by former Chief Commissioner Kel Glare in July this year. Mr Glare has publicly stated that the evidence indicates that Daniel and Catherine Andrews have committed the crimes of perjury and perverting the course of justice. More to come….

Crowd numbers aren’t the whole story. But I think it does make evident that South Melbourne are A-league ready, but no one else is really. Give South Melbourne a license and let the Aus Championship build over the next 5-10 years. We need to hurry up and slow down.

Bordeaux are back at the Matmut Atlantique Stadium today—and their fans just showed what pure loyalty looks like. 🔵⚪️🇫🇷 After financial collapse forced the club away from their home arena due to high stadium costs, the Marine et Blanc finally returned home today with a flat €8 ticket. Supporters responded instantly packing the stands with over 11,000 fans. 🏟️🎟️ To pull an 11,000+ crowd in the 6th division (Régional 1) shatters the previous 6th-tier record of 3,850. While most amateur games draw a few hundred spectators, Bordeaux fans are creating top-flight atmosphere in regional football. 😍 Divisions change, but true terrace culture stays forever! 👏❤️

I'd say their initial investment for the license has more than been covered. They bought in cheap - had command of the market - so why do they need protecting - apart from what we all know - if they go down - they go for good. This fragility says it all.
