The joys of @FlyLoganair . Plane from @manairport almost an hour late. Flight to Kirkwall just left. 10 of us stuck in Aberdeen. No apologies! No explanations!

Older adults and people with complex health needs are often the highest users of healthcare, yet they are the least likely to possess smartphones or have high digital confidence. When appointments are claimed rapidly online, less digitally fluent patients are at a disadvantage.

Replying to @suzypuss
Absolutely. Simplistic Recovery narratives also obscure the
strength shown by so many people living with enduring mental conditions, who have no choice but to ‘recover’ over and over again.
Warts and all
"Mental health providers love hearing positive stories about how someone has struggled with their mental health, recovered, and will for ever be thankful for the wonderful help they received from caring staff..."

KNICKER APPEAL! Many of the women at HMP Styal don't have more than two or three pairs of undercrackers - these little indignities add up and contribute to the high levels of self-harm and distress we see in women's prisons. So, I am collecting NEW pairs of knickers, all shapes, styles and sizes and asking if #women in my network can pick up a packet next time they are in the supermarket to donate. Whether they are Bridget Jones bloomers or you could slice cheese with them, they are important. They can be dropped off at Abney Cafe, Abney Hall Park in #Cheadle, Greater Manchester or posted out to:
HMP Styal, Styal Rd, Wilmslow, SK9 4HR
The humble knicker says to women in prison that they still have some choice, their body is theirs and matters, they are entitled to basic dignity and not required to become less human because they have lost their liberty.
Please help if you can, and share with your networks/ women's groups. It is much appreciated! #StyleForStyal #Prisons #Appeal

There’s a contradiction, to put it mildly, in the timing.
Sep 10, #WorldSuicidePreventionDay, when Parliament will commit to preserving life, bringing people back from despair.
Sep 11, the #AssistedDying Bill.
