Listen to all three minutes. No notes, just a mom who doesn't play about her kids. This is the new standard for parents who care about what their kids are learning in school.

Dr. Jesse McGuire was performing the national anthem on his trumpet when suddenly his instrument malfunctioned 😳 After one attempt to fix it, McGuire instead grabbed the mic and amazingly sang the rest of the anthem 🤩

It’s worth rewatching Jim Cornelison’s rendition of the National Anthem that he gave 15 years ago today. It was powerful on the 10th anniversary of 9/11, and it’s still powerful on the 25th. Never forget. #Bears

America does not need another political answer. America needs a spiritual awakening. Today, I had the privilege of opening the Republican Party’s first-ever midterm convention in prayer. And my prayer was not ultimately about politics. It was about God. I prayed that we would humble ourselves before Him. That we would have the courage to stand for truth, the conviction to defend life, the strength to protect the family, and the wisdom to lead with integrity and compassion. As we celebrate 250 years of this great nation, may we pray for something greater than political victory: a spiritual rebirth in America. May the Church rise. May our hearts turn back to God. May we walk in truth and righteousness. And may we never forget where our ultimate hope is found. Our hope is not in politics, parties or personalities. Our hope is in the Lord Jesus Christ. May God bless America, and may God call America back to Himself.

Since you weren’t even born yet, I’m going to answer in good faith: 9/11 was America’s collective loss of innocence. In the decades prior, we’d won the Cold War by outspending the Soviets. We were the sole remaining superpower, and we were in a period of peace and economic prosperity. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, we suffered a suicide attack with a higher death toll than Pearl Harbor. It struck a city on the US mainland, the first attack of that scale to hit CONUS since the Civil War. In a violent flash, and on live television, our collective illusions of safety, security, and peace disappeared. For most Americans, it was the first time we ever had to contend with that scale of horror, and what it implied about the fragility of our way of life. It was simultaneously sobering and terrifying. The American response was to launch two wars, and to restructure domestic life around the Government’s presumed duty to spy on everyone, so nothing like it could ever happen again. I am not being hyperbolic when I say the America we grew up in—imagined or not—vanished on 9/11. What you’re calling a “worshipful attitude” is a mix of reverence for the dead, and mourning for the loss of what existed before.
People born pre-9/11 have such a weird, worshipful attitude about it.

One year ago, we tragically lost a fearless patriot. A champion for freedom and for our country. Charlie Kirk changed the course of American history. His courage, conviction, and love of country will never be forgotten. ❤️ "Well done, good and faithful servant"

For all the things that divide us, grief is a universal language and a defining part of the human experience. At some point, every one of us will love someone we have to say an earthly goodbye to. I am still learning how to walk through each day carrying the grief I feel for my Charlie. Some days I have a vague understanding of God’s plan, others I don’t, but I trust Him completely. He is my only strength. I also know grief can be lonely, and sometimes hearing someone else put words to it makes us feel a little less alone. I wrote this for anyone who has lost someone they love, anyone sitting in grief now, and anyone who someday will. Suffering does not get the final word. Only God does. My reflections on grief, one year later: nytimes.com/2026/09/07/opini…

SAVE A SEAT. MAKE HEAVEN CROWDED. Hear @JesseBWatters share how Charlie’s death sparked his own faith and how he has seen that same spark spreading throughout the country. Charlie inspired thousands to walk through church doors. This month, churches across America are saving a seat in his memory and inviting others to experience the same hope that changed lives.
