Yesterday, Senate Democrats voted down our bills to require data centers to pay their own electricity bills, to ban stock trading by Senators, and to require an ID to vote.
I voted yes, but Democratic no votes killed all three.
A 6-year-old tells his grandmother he’s hungry and his mother isn’t home. What she finds after rushing to the house leads to attempted murder charges.
Authorities say the South Carolina boy and his 3-year-old sibling suffered approximately 50 stab wounds between them after their mother, Taylor Gosnell, allegedly attacked them with a baseball bat and circular knife.
Both children remain hospitalized with severe injuries and are expected to undergo additional surgeries. Gosnell has been denied bond on two attempted murder charges and also faces two weapons charges.

Patrick De Wulf was only 19 years old when he gave his life in Vietnam. Serving with the 101st Airborne Division, one of the most storied units in U.S. Army history, he was killed in action in Thua Thien Province on July 20, 1970.
Think about that for a moment—19 years old. Just a teenager. He may not have had the chance to experience the things most young people take for granted: a career, a family, marriage, or even his first legal drink.
He may not have even had a girlfriend. Patrick was just one of thousands of young Americans who never made it home. We owe every one of those young men and women our deepest gratitude. They gave up their futures so that we could have ours. Never forget them.
