🚨 Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei just dropped a massive timeline update at Davos 2026: “I have engineers within Anthropic who say ‘I don’t write any code anymore. I just let the model write the code, I edit it’... - the creator of Claude code recently also said “100% of his contributions to Claude code were written by Claude code” for the month of December Dario then goes onto say: “We might be 6 to 12 months away from when the model is doing most, maybe all of what SWEs do end-to-end.” If the recursive self-improvement loop closes this year, the curve is about to go vertical.

thoughts after a month of daily claude code: - skill floor is low, ceiling is high - anything can be built in a day with the right prompts and .md setup. mostly everything is a skill issue now - startups in current format are cooked. mass extinction event. incentives aren't built for this paradigm - agentic apps will beat UIs. users describe intent, agent does it.

It’s hilarious to me how on all these panels and interviews from Sibos, Sergey asks them what they think about how things are going to work out from here just to wait for all of them to spill a bunch of non sense and finally it’s his turn and he’s like ok this is how I think it’s going to work and he just lectures them about how things will actually work and deep throat them with the Chainlink stack. And we are talking about the people in finance with control of the system. SWIFT, UBS, Euroclear, DDTC, Deutsche Börse, etc. The institutions in the backend no one knows that run all of tradfi with trillions of flows. An absolute chad and to be remembered as one of the best businessmen and visionaries of all time. $LINK

Jin. This is really good! You are obviously the heir apparent to Voxels, always have been. Imagine voxels with autonomous characters wandering in the game making vibes and engaging with real human players. I know you can lead that charge. @cryptovoxels @MetageistVR

THE CHAINLINK ENDGAME The updated Chainlink vision is here. What started as a data solution is now an extensive platform of essential services for integrating the world into the onchain economy ⬇️ blog.chain.link/chainlink-or… What TCP/IP did for the Internet and the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) did for online development, Chainlink is doing for blockchains and onchain apps. In the early days of the Internet, scaling required more than innovation—it required unification and seamless orchestration. TCP/IP and the JRE emerged, bringing coherence to a fragmented digital world and abstracting away complexity so developers could focus on building. Blockchains are at the same turning point. With more chains and even more financial institutions and real-world assets moving onchain, the main challenge now is building apps that efficiently orchestrate across blockchains and existing systems. Advanced blockchain apps now involve multiple types of data, cross-chain interoperability, compliance policies, integration with legacy systems, and much more. Building these next-gen apps is nearly impossible to do in-house and overly complex if you have to rely on a growing list of vendors, who each only solve a small portion of the application’s overall requirements. Chainlink changes that. Chainlink is not just a price feed. It’s a unified oracle platform that underpins critical standards, services, and end-to-end solutions needed to unlock advanced blockchain applications: • Data oracles for publishing mission-critical data onchain • Interoperability oracles for moving data and value cross-chain • Compliance and privacy oracles for meeting regulatory and internal business requirements • Legacy system integration for seamless connecting between onchain and offchain systems • Verifiable orchestration and compute to power entire applications in a decentralized manner Like Java and TCP/IP before it, Chainlink unifies blockchains and abstracts away complexity, empowering developers and institutions to build and power the entire lifecycle of onchain use cases via a single, secure platform. Now, enterprises can efficiently build onchain apps that mirror the sophistication of traditional finance yet benefit from the transparency, security, and composability of blockchains and Chainlink technology. Chainlink is how the world integrates into the onchain economy.

imagine if we could all have invested in Linux, SSL, or HTTP with a token that incentivized their development, now that would have been fun.

A VC bragged to me: “We use AI to screen 50 startups a day.” “It reads the deck, checks the founders, analyzes the market, even scrapes their Twitter. 40 seconds flat. Way better than those old 40-minute meetings.” I nodded. Impressive. Then I asked, “What about that $5M deal you just funded?” “Oh that? Brilliant founder. Killer pitch and product.” Here’s the twist: That “brilliant” deck? 90% AI-generated. The “market research”? ChatGPT. Oh, and the product? Mostly vibe-coded. I know this... because I know the founder. I know how it was made. So let’s recap: AI founders pitching to AI investors. Both sides powered by prompts. Both sides convinced it’s “rigorous.” The AI wasn’t just writing the pitch. It was writing the product and the check too. Welcome to venture capital in 2025: Nobody’s in the room. - Nick Lebesis
