Starting the weekend by implementing new features for my app! Always nice to get a Rubber Duck critique before jumping straight into the implementation.

I often use this as an example in my talks when demonstrating large, complex AI-assisted work: GitHub rewrote their Copilot SDK into 800k+ lines of Rust using Copilot—a year-plus team effort done in few weeks. Full breakdown on why, how, and costs github.blog/ai-and-ml/genera…

Sometimes it's easier to show than tell. We're sure this update will help with that. 👀 GitHub CLI now has a repeatable --attach flag that uploads a local image or video. Reference it inline in an issue, pull request, or comment body. Available now to all users on GitHub across all plans. 🎉 github.blog/changelog/2026-0…

One of my favorite things about the #GitHub #Copilot App: I can run multiple sessions in parallel, each on its own worktree/branch, and explore different implementations. - Test → compare → keep the winner → delete the rest. A great workflow for design exploration

📣 @OpenAIDevs has reduced the price for GPT-5.6 Sol by 50% until September 3. Try it out in GitHub Copilot wherever you work.
📣 @OpenAIDevs's GPT-5.6 family is now generally available and rolling out in GitHub Copilot. GPT-5.6 comes in three variants: ☀️ GPT-5.6 Sol: the highest reasoning ceiling in the family. Best for complex reasoning over large codebases and demanding, long-running agentic work. 🌎 GPT-5.6 Terra: the balanced default. A strong all-round choice for everyday interactive and agentic coding. 🌕 GPT-5.6 Luna: a lightweight, cost-efficient variant for smaller, faster tasks and the lowest-cost option in the family. Try one, two, or them all in @code or the GitHub Copilot app. github.blog/changelog/2026-0…

The new plan UI in the @GitHubCopilot App is super clean. Makes seeing the problem and proposed changes really easy to digest.
