this guy looks cartoonishly corrupt, like if you were casting for an ABC drama and needed a guy to play a dodgy mayor this is who you'd get
The ABC has a clip up of Charles Wooley's first press conference as mayor #politas #lgtas

I'll never understand why America takes college sports so seriously. Real stunted behaviour
2026 will go down as one of the best sports years ever

a list of healthy and well-functioning economies
Other advanced economies have inflation under control. Here, it’s accelerating and starts with a 4 🇯🇵 JP 2.1% 🇨🇦 CAN 3.1% 🇬🇧 UK 3.5% 🇳🇿 NZ 3.7% 🇺🇸 US 3.7% 🇪🇺 Euro 3.8% 🇦🇺 AUS 4.3% ‼️ ➡️ The result of Labor failing to control spending and pursuing an anti-productivity agenda.

And it worked! Wills held for Labor despite it being the only seat the Greens focused on, to the detriment of all of the seats they actually held including their leaders' seat which they'd held since 2010 - a seat that Labor won using a significantly smaller budget than Wills.
Everyone talking about Griffith but this is the one that made me go 👀👀

Almost as if the ALP might know what they're doing when it comes to allocating electoral spending

you can find this stuff without using Claude btw
BREAKING: Claude Code found 14,219 photos of my face on my Android that I never took. Phone was secretly taking them almost every time I picked it up. Even when I was just lying in bed. Even at home. Not screenshots. Real frames from the front camera. On the train. In the car. At home. When I just grabbed it to check the time. They were just sitting in a system cache. Timestamps and GPS on them. Nothing in Gallery. Nothing in Recently Deleted. Plugged the phone into my laptop, made a full backup, told Claude Code to look for any front-camera files that weren’t in my photos. It pulled /data/system/users/0/faceunlock/cache and another folder inside Google Play Services. Over 14 thousand files. Normal ones and infrared from Face Unlock. Every single one had time and location. Started scrolling. Almost everything from the last 15 months. Then I saw a file created 2 seconds ago. I was still looking at the folder. Phone kept taking photos while I was reading this. Google and the phone makers say Face Unlock turns everything into a mathematical model and deletes the image right away. On this phone the raw frames were just sitting there. Some of the processes writing to that folder were from system diagnostics. Couple of old apps that still had camera permission could also get in. Turned off diagnostics, revoked camera access from everything that doesn’t need it, cleared the cache. But how many of these frames already went somewhere else, I don’t know. If you want to check yours, plug it in, make a full backup or use ADB, and ask Claude to look for front-camera files outside your Gallery. Path above is where mine were.

this trend is constantly being reposted by bots & ragebait farmers. all you need to know really
The Soviet Flag NEVER had a star.. What the fuck are you talking about @Grok?

You ever notice how stupid some people are
A new Mandela Effect is rising. Since when does the Soviet flag carry a star above the hammer and sickle? Many of us remember it clearly without one. If you recall the flag without the star… you may be from the old Earth. Shifted into this denser, clown-world timeline. The memory itself is the proof. The body knows. The soul knows. We are not crazy. We are remembering. I miss the old Earth too. Yet we are here now to hold the Light and anchor a higher one. Who else feels this?

I'm sure this trend of visualising government budgets & inviting people to "balance" the budget like it's a paradox game will be good for society
I wanted to visualise Britain's state spending ahead of the Budget, so I've vibe coded an app which presents it as a disk drive. Take a look at the tradeoffs and see if you can make the budget fit: britains-disk.pages.dev

great to meet all my friends at the Adelaide CTE Meetup, was a really fun time and only one person tried to burn my shirt this time!
We were in the rain, but we were in the fight all day. This incredible journey around our country rolls on, and I can't thank the Adelaide Patriots enough for turning out on a day that didn't look that good this morning but certainly cleared up into something beautiful later on. To the hundreds of people I spoke to, shook hands with, and had photos with today, I can't thank you enough for your support. To the people that just turned up and marched and rallied with us and helped to continue to push this message, you are my people. Special thanks to our guest speakers today, donors, and many contributors to the event. The Australian lobby group and the Australia Marches team are on mission and focused on our next destination, Melbourne, 1st of November, 12 pm. We deliberately chose to go around the country anti-clockwise so that we had everything dialled in as best we could by the time we got to the Eastern States. This journey has not been without its dramas, its excitement, its terror, and its pure patriotic beauty. Australia is a magnificent and beautiful nation of people. We should be proud of what we've achieved and believe in a future where anything is possible. We will go to Melbourne next week with love in our hearts and rally to let this government know at state and federal level that you cannot ignore us anymore and that we will take our country back. I'll see you on the ground, patriots. @AusLobby @aus_marches

ON seats are all wrong here The swing in the west won't be as big as hoped/predicted, anyone campaigning out there can tell you that Gippsland East far more likely to go than Gippsland South, also Narracan a likely tilt Ripon a possibility but Lowan & Eildon just as likely

I wonder if Menchie is aware of Isaacs' views on Zionism
Australia’s first Australian-born Governor-General was a Jewish Melburnian: Sir Isaac Isaacs Born in 1855 to Jewish immigrant parents, Isaacs rose from modest beginnings to help shape the nation’s democratic & legal institutions His contribution to Australia was remarkable: • Federation: Represented Victoria at the 1897–98 Constitutional Convention & campaigned for the Constitution • Parliament: Elected to Australia’s first federal Parliament in 1901 & later served as Commonwealth Attorney-General • Law: Served almost 25 years on the High Court, becoming Chief Justice in 1930 • National leadership: Became Australia’s first Australian-born Governor-General in 1931, serving until 1936 During the Great Depression, he voluntarily gave up a quarter of his Governor-General’s salary & his High Court pension - a tangible expression of public service during national hardship As a Jewish Australian, I take pride in his contribution to modern Australia Sir Isaac Isaacs helped build Australia. His legacy deserves to be widely known & celebrated #AustralianHistory #JewishAustralians #PublicService

If Isaacs were alive today, Menchie would be denouncing him as an enemy of Israel & try to get him fired

It brings me great peace of mind to remind myself that cloutless sods like Matt will eventually fade into irrelevancy and reflect on how they've achieved nothing in their lives
Sack Chris Bowen. Take the temperature down.

Note that Linus wrote the code for the fix himself and then used AI to find the instances where the fix was needed & implement it. Writing your own code is always the move
Linus Torvalds used Claude again to remove years-old, slow and insecure Linux kernel code. The cleanup is now merged into Linux 7.4 and spans 48 commits. It targets __get_user() and __put_user(), old memory-access helpers that skip user-address checks. Linus says their historical performance advantage disappeared years ago. He wrote the initial example patch, then used Claude to help apply the same changes elsewhere. The old calls are gone from generic kernel code, with the interfaces fully removed on x86. Other architectures still retain some uses. As Linus put it, “we should have done this years ago.” Source: github.com/torvalds/linux/co…
