I didn’t not know molded tuna was a thing. Apparently it is a delicacy in some places. They have a whole process for how it grows then they trim the mold off before serving it raw. Would you try it?

Most wild elephants do not see 70, and the reason is dental. The sixth and last set of molars wears out in the late 60s and the animal can no longer process enough food. A handful of elephants, nearly all of them in human care, have gone considerably further. Lin Wang reached a verified 86. Lin Wang was an Asian elephant who lived at the Taipei Zoo from 1954 until his death in February 2003 at the age of 86. He is the benchmark case because his life was documented from the point he entered Chinese military service: he had been taken from Japanese forces in Burma during the Second World War, hauled supplies for the Chinese Expeditionary Force, and was shipped to Taiwan in 1947 before being handed to the zoo. He was a national figure in Taiwan. His birthday was a public event for years and his death was front page news. When Kerala’s Travancore Devaswom Board later applied to Guinness World Records on behalf of its own elderly elephant, it was Lin Wang’s record they were applying to beat. He served with the Chinese Expeditionary Force during the war, where he was initially captured by the Japanese army and later rescued by Chinese forces in 1943. Lin Wang was used to transport supplies and artillery, showcasing the valuable role elephants played in military logistics. After the war, Lin Wang was transferred to the Taipei Zoo in 1954, where he became a beloved attraction. Known affectionately as "Grandpa Lin Wang," he captured the hearts of many visitors, becoming an iconic figure in Taiwan. His birthday celebrations drew large crowds, and he was honored posthumously as an honorary citizen of Taipei. Lin Wang lived significantly longer than the average life expectancy of Asian elephants, which is around 60 years. In early 2003, he suffered from arthritis and other complications, leading to his death. His passing was widely mourned, and he is remembered as a symbol of resilience and the bond between humans and animals.

Joe Rogan was STUNNED when he learned what Anthropic did. They bought millions of physical books, cut the spines right off them, scanned every page for AI training, and then just threw the originals away like trash. Millions of books. Gone. And when you really think about it, it's bigger than just books. These AI companies are building TRILLION dollar empires on the backs of human beings. Authors who spent 10 years writing one book. Researchers who spent a lifetime gathering knowledge. Artists, poets, journalists - all of it just scraped, scanned, and fed into a machine. So where do we draw the line between innovation and exploitation? Look, I'm all for technology advancing. AI is incredible, I use it. But we have to be honest about how it's being built. Just because you CAN scan someone's life work doesn't mean you SHOULD, and it doesn't mean you get to do it for free while you make billions. Imagine spending 5 years writing a book, pouring your heart and soul into it, and then a billion-dollar company chops it up in a warehouse and tells a computer "learn this" without ever asking you, paying you, or even respecting the physical book itself. That's not innovation. That's exploitation. Technology should move forward, but not by treating human creativity like it's just free raw material to be mined and discarded. The people whose work makes AI possible deserve respect, credit, and fair treatment. So I have to ask - AI innovation or intellectual exploitation? Where do YOU stand?

This has to be the most insane courtroom moment I've seen this year. A blind Florida man charged with FIRST-DEGREE MURDER just told the judge he will plead guilty in exchange for a Philly cheesesteak, fries, and a Pepsi. I'm not making this up. Robert Kessler, 74, is charged with first-degree murder and abuse of a dead body for the murder and dismemberment of 47-year-old Stephanie Crone Overholt. He was representing himself at first, but has since changed his mind. In court, Kessler told the judge he would take LIFE IN PRISON as long as he gets a Philly cheesesteak with onions, mayonnaise, and fries. He said he was trying to save taxpayers money. The judge did not go for it. The effort was unsuccessful. This is beyond disturbing. On one hand, you have a brutal, horrific crime and a family who lost a loved one in the worst way possible. On the other, you have a 74-year-old blind man treating a first-degree murder case like it's a fast-food order. It shows you how broken some people are. There's no remorse, no gravity, no understanding of what he allegedly did. Just... a cheesesteak. Justice needs to be served for Stephanie. This family deserves more than a joke in a courtroom.

We have been down this road before. Keep our jobs in America! And while you’re at it bring customer service jobs back onshore staffed with English accents. We spend too much time trying to figure out what’s being said on the other line.
Say no to H1B VISAs. We don’t need to create little India in America.

Her neighbor marched over in a robe, leaf blower in hand, to lecture her about yard waste bags… then called her a criminal to her face 😳 "It's $2 for five bags at Home Depot." "You are a real criminal." "Jumping off the fences. Masking yourself so that nobody recognizes you." "I can see that. On my camera. Everything." Is this the neighbor from hell, or does she have a point?

Good news from the Sunshine State. A new New York Times/Siena poll of 813 likely Florida voters, taken Oct. 19-25, has Sen. Ashley Moody leading Democrat Angie Nixon 50% to 44% in the Senate race. In the governor's race, Byron Donalds leads David Jolly 48% to 44%. The margin of error is 3.9 points. That's the same pollster that has South Carolina tied andMinnesota leaning hard toward the Democrat, so nobody can call this a friendly poll stacking the deck for Republicans. Still, a four point lead is not a cushion. It's inside shouting distance of the margin of error. Florida, don't coast. Finish the job. 🇺🇸 #Florida #Midterms2026 #FloridaGovernor

👇👇💯💯 Sitting out only assists the efforts of the party of delusion and that’s precisely what they want-conservative votes going unused..
This midterm election is not about politics, it is our choice of forced K-12 sex education, disrespect of parents and family authority, male invasion of female privacy and athletics, releasing repeat offenders into our neighborhoods that rape and kill and Christian censorship. House races are often decided by fewer than 5,000 votes and Senate races by less than 1%. Please vote for our Christian freedom and our children's because staying home or scattering votes on third-party candidates allows the greater evil to prevail in close races.

Watch this wild Russian stunt: Alexey Kalinsky launches a buggy off a massive inflatable ramp and pulls a flip no one in Russia has done before, right in front of a roaring crowd and a bright yellow Corvette. Pure chaos and precision.
The throttle open, desert trail racer ripping through the wasteland—dust, chrome, and pure Road Warrior chaos under a merciless sun. The heat shimmers. The engine howls. From the driver’s seat your desert trail racer launches across broken trails and open sand, tires throwing rooster tails of grit while the horizon blurs. Modified, battered, and moving like it has nothing left to lose, it feels ripped straight from the climactic chase in The Road Warrior - just pure velocity, dust, and the sense that something is always closing in behind you.

Every couple of months or so I like to look at a video like this just to remind me of how ridiculously awful they were, even back then. They never gave him a chance at winning and he ended up shocking every one of them. All these liberals and woke Hollywood goofballs thought they knew better and controlled the country. They got a good dose of reality. 🇺🇸

This Day in United States History 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 On October 29, 1970, major U.S. newspaper headlines included: U.S. Expects Soviet to Take the Initiative When Arms Talks Resume in Helsinki - with the New York Times reporting: WASHINGTON, Oct. 28— The United States looks to the Soviet Union to take the major initiative at what is expected to be a fairly brief round of the talks on limiting strategic arms starting Monday at Helsinki. Finland. The negotiations, after several weeks of tension between Moscow and Washington over the Middle East, Cuba and Berlin, assume importance not only as a test of whether the Soviet leadership wants an arms‐control agreement but also as an indicator of the general state of Soviet‐American relations. One major indicator of the Soviet attitudes, American officials say, will be whether Moscow insists on including 50 American attack planes, based in Europe and with the Sixth Fleet in the Mediterranean, under any over‐all accord to limit strategic arms systems. How it played out U.S. officials expected a relatively brief round and looked to Moscow for the main initiative—specifically a firm, detailed counter-response to the American proposals from Vienna (including on offensive force limits). One key test they highlighted was whether the Soviets would press hard to include U.S. forward-based aircraft (e.g., in Europe and the Mediterranean) in any overall limits. No agreement was reached in Helsinki in 1970. The talks remained deadlocked into 1971 over the linkage of offensive and defensive limits and issues like forward-based systems. A breakthrough came via higher-level (including back-channel) diplomacy: the May 20, 1971 joint U.S.-Soviet announcement that they would concentrate on an ABM treaty while negotiating certain offensive limitations in parallel. This framework enabled the SALT I accords signed in Moscow in May 1972 (the ABM Treaty limiting defenses to two sites each, later reduced, and the Interim Agreement freezing certain offensive launcher numbers with asymmetries favoring the Soviets in some categories). On This Date In The Music World 🎶🎵🎶 James Taylor was still having commercial success with his second album, Sweet Baby James. His most successful song on the album was Fire and Rain, which would reach No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. 56 years ago today, Fire and Rain was still a top-10 song in the United States. Enjoy part of one of my mid-September twilight rides on the Adams Loop. At this time, Middle Tennessee was still being impacted by the heat dome, so evening rides were quite refreshing. But the temp wasn't the only thing hot - so was Fire and Rain! Volume UP!!! 🇺🇸😎👊 Fire and Rain - James Taylor 🎶🎶🎶 Just yesterday mornin', they let me know you were gone Suzanne, the plans they made put an end to you I walked out this morning and I wrote down this song I just can't remember who to send it to I've seen fire and I've seen rain I've seen sunny days that I thought would never end I've seen lonely times when I could not find a friend But I always thought that I'd see you again Won't you look down upon me, Jesus? You've got to help me make a stand You've just got to see me through another day My body's aching and my time is at hand And I won't make it any other way Oh, I've seen fire and I've seen rain I've seen sunny days that I thought would never end I've seen lonely times when I could not find a friend But I always thought that I'd see you again Been walking my mind to an easy time My back turned towards the sun Lord knows, when the cold wind blows It'll turn your head around Well, there's hours of time on the telephone line To talk about things to come Sweet dreams and flying machines in pieces on the ground Oh, I've seen fire and I've seen rain I've seen sunny days that I thought would never end I've seen lonely times when I could not find a friend But I always thought that I'd see you, baby One more time again, now Thought I'd see you one more time again There's just a few things coming my way this time around, now Thought I'd see you, thought I'd see you, fire and rain, now 🎶🎶🎶
